Mate his best mins were when he left and Mitch Moses took over the play making duties. The team lifted at that point. Another shock was Eisenhuth. Hadnt he retired so why not give a young up and comer a crack.
Thanks for the link RVH. Good test squad and we should go well. I'm sure that Australian Assistant Coach Willie Peters will be giving Kevvie Walters the drum on all the Pommie guys seeing that he has been coaching in the Super League. We won't be that dominant though I don't think but should win the Series.

By the way, that Eisenhuth prop you mentioned who played against the PNG XIII isn't retired. It was Matt Eisenhuth from the Panthers who still has another year at that Club at 33 years of age. You are thinking of Tom Eisenhuth who played for us but has retired due to ongoing concussion symptoms way back in May of this year.

Every little bit helps mate. We will win as we have an envious record in the Old Dart, winning a record thirteen consecutive Ashes against either the British Lions or England, seven of them on their soil, 1979, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1989, 1996 and 2003. All but two were 3–0 series whitewashes. We land on their shore and they start pissing themselves.

@Eric shouldnt there be a separate Pacific Championships thread.

Jaydn Su’A
Great to see him in international footy, but prefer he was wearing the Kangaroo jumper. Do you guys think Jaydn was offered a choice or simply chose Samoa because he was not part of Walters plans. Meanwhile, Val Holmes will be on the coaching staff of the Cook Islands as he has an affinity with the small Pacific nation given his mother is a Cook Islander.

Finally the top 17. Newly wed Lindsay Smith misses a berth, surely he is still not on his honeymoon. Mitch Moses is too good to be warming a reserve bench.
Disregard the Pommie list. Someone must've been pissed when they were typing that.

You can see the Broncos flavour in this team. 7 bloody Qlders in the run on team. Don't like it when too many Qlders make up the national team.

I dont mind if there is a good mix of both them and us. After all their one aim is the same, to carry on the amazing success of our 'Roos, 13 consecutive series wins. Fair to say we Aussies love nothing more than belting the Poms.

If I'm still awake I will watch the first half.

Thats more like it Roos. First blood to a flying Walsh. A sweeping back line movement saw Mark N outpace the Pom defense then inside to Walsh who stepped Welsby then planted the leather with a super swan dive. Fab footy.
