I was never banned but seriously the moderators at the time I stopped using it! I'm sure they moderated for the love of telling members what's what.

100%. I got banned for commenting on something I can’t even remember and dragged poor old DD into it because he liked my post and a few others. Then I had to virtually beg via email to be allowed back on. They then allowed me with a whole bunch of restrictions including I didn’t have emojis so I couldn’t comment on other peoples posts. When I started using posts to say to members I liked their post they then banned me for post bombing when I asked why did I get banned they banned me permanently.
I found this forum a little while ago it didn’t have many members but it is such a pleasure to be on. You can actually communicate to the staff without feeling as though you are a leper. There are certain requests that members have asked for which I am more than willing to comply with for the info they provide. And what’s more all the members here are great knowledgeable people all with a common interest. Good to see a lot of the old folk coming across and once again well done to Eric and the staff members for providing this great place to discuss all things Dragons.

I was banned at LU for suggesting Francis Molo created a dispute over nothing so he could accept a better offer elsewhere. Then again for supposedly not following forum rules. I used the name Saints Forever there. Power mad, arbitrary moderators. Decided to no longer post there.

Hadn't heard that but makes sense. He officially threw a fit over someone in admin suggesting he should go to an event where alcohol was being served? If he had been a hardcore alco for 20 years one could understand his paranoia about being around alcohol but not as is.

I was banned from LU after posting a message questioning their banning policy. I had already disengaged from the forum and suspected the post would not be well received. The reaction just reinforced what many here have described, a moderation culture more focused on control than community. This place has been a very different experience, and it’s good to see constructive and respectful discussion actually encouraged.
I did not realize Allan had been cut.

In 2018 after seeing Payne Haas debut off the bench, I instantly started a thread titled Payne Haas off contract. I said if I was Milward(our recruitment guy), I said I would go 700K a season for 3 years after that one game off the bench and copped some flack of some other posters. He then got injured in his second game and missed the rest of 2018. Then in 2019 when he returned and played his next game I posted
Haas was probably the best forward on the field tonight. He is only 19 years old. before tonight he had only came off the bench twice. In the next few years, I think he will be the number 1 prop in the game. He is that good, he may end up being the best prop I have ever seen play the game since watching footy closely, for 38 years or so. Right now I have in no particular order, Roach, Lazarus and Sam Burgess as the 3 best props I have seen.
One of the moderators was one who was giving me flack about me saying I would sign Haas for 700K a year for 3 years. I told him I would be periodically bumping the thread over the next few years. The moderator said he won't be holding his breath and I told him, He couldn't hold his breath for that long. He also told me to get back to him when Haas was 25. Well Haas is now 26. I do think he is the best prop I have seen.
I think the thread aged very well. Since I can't bump the thread like I said I was going to, if anyone on "the other forum" would like to bump the thread for me, I would appreciate it. lol In hindsight, I think it is a good read.
As I previously mentioned. The first time I saw Koloamatangi play prop a few years ago, when he had to fill in when a starting prop got injured. He played 80 minutes at prop and there and then I said, he was a top prop and wanted us to sign him to play prop for us. He later extended at Souths. It has taken 3 or 4 years for me to get my wish. I can't remember the last time Saints signed a player on my wish list. Daniel Anderson and Flanno, Please make Jaxon Purdue or Fletcher Sharp my second one. If we had Koloamatangi, Purdue and Sharp, we would suddenly be a top 4 team and even premiership contender.

No way Flanagan. Does this mean he has no plans for Kade Reed to be our long term half.
I'd be spewing if another club was to benefit from Kade's special organising ability.
Given the footage I have seen of Daniel Anderson he looks like a dead set five eighth.

Flanno likes boosting our players confidence by going to the media and praising them smart way in my opinion
but I reckon who ever has the better year out of Joseph O’Neill or Kade Reed will get the nod I can’t see dragons keeping both just my opinion
