10min to flegg .. will stick with this for then.
amone looks likely, good leg drive into the line.

ive been tellin ya haha, hes an absolute gun.. chapman can play somewhere genuinely.. thats the 2nd 40/20 ive seen and he nails kicks from the touchline, they sail out of the stadium.Mate idk where Coelho’s come from but he looks like Cameron Smith and Danny Buderus roles into one here
What a performance so far haha, it’s like a little trick when I analyse hookers, if they engage the line often and take out the markers with their ball playing/running then your 90% of the way to being a great #9
Cherry on top is he can goal kick and general play kicking looks decent too
Fletcher was in the halves for the first 3 rounds.. its partially because Fitzgerald is going so bad also.. but I think the coaches agree with you.. my thoughts on him just from watching highlights last year was hes clearly a footy player.. and he made 2 really great breaks today.. but that big frame.. surely too big for 5/8 or halfback... hes probably going to end up in another position, but whats it going to be? Is he big enough for 13?I gotta say, Fletcher Couchman based on the games I’ve seen this season looks rank
Had 1 decent run at the start of this game and that’s all he’s done
Halves are like anchors on this team
its these 3 every week I feel, just flip around the order, and throw in Chapman who im pretty confident plays 7 next weekend.. but... he could play 13 instead.. as theyve now moved Amone into the 8 jersey.. either way we need to figure it out before finals.. we havent found our groove yet.3-2-1
3- Api Amone was by far the best forward on the field
2- Ollie Burton with about 20 tackle breaks + trysaver in first half
1- Coelho for his first half performance
Fletcher played lock both this week and last week.Fletcher was in the halves for the first 3 rounds.. its partially because Fitzgerald is going so bad also.. but I think the coaches agree with you.. my thoughts on him just from watching highlights last year was hes clearly a footy player.. and he made 2 really great breaks today.. but that big frame.. surely too big for 5/8 or halfback... hes probably going to end up in another position, but whats it going to be? I dont even know where Fletcher was playing today tbh, he started the game in the 15 jersey.. he made his first break from first receiver... but the 6 and 7 were on the field also..
Steelers 30- Wests 22What was the final score please?
Chapman is a really good 9. He'll probably push Coelho to the bench.its these 3 every week I feel, just flip around the order, and throw in Chapman who im pretty confident plays 7 next weekend.. but... he could play 13 instead.. as theyve now moved Amone into the 8 jersey.. either way we need to figure it out before finals.. we havent found our groove yet.
As for Amone, he has a that rly thicc frame like Latu did.. average or maybe slightly lower height (which is good).. bends the line every hit up... but without giving up his athleticisim, i.e. he still moves well.. Fangupo prob my 2nd favourite forward, more of a tino build.. I 'think' he might be a year younger.. so perhaps next year will be the one for him to shine.
Fantastic, thanks Puff.Steelers 30- Wests 22
Couchman did a great deal of good work in this game on top of the one decent run that you noticed. The halves (Lewis and Fitzgerald) played pretty well in this game. Playing in the halves is not an easy job when you are 16 years old. Your post implies that you thought Couchman was playing in the halves. He was not. He was playing lock.I gotta say, Fletcher Couchman based on the games I’ve seen this season looks rank

Confidence is a wonderful thingMatch Notes (Steelers HM):
2nd Half:
- Only gonna catch part of the game due to the flegg and cup games, but we should win well today against a weaker opposition.. we have a decent side.. probably let down by our halves.. the rest is pretty good.
- Despite not being named.. Couchman in #15 is starting along with 7.Fitzgerald/6.Lewis who I'e been critical of in weeks gone by.. and his first touch he literally steps through the line and runs 50m held up on the tryline.. Tausala the beast-mode centre on the very next play bashes someone to get it over in the very corner.. very individual finish.. Coehlo nails it from the touchline 6-0.
- Burton holds up his defender to save a try at the other end ^_^
- Off the back of it Coehlo kicks a 40-20 from dummy half to put us on the attack.. Chapman wont get his jersey back imo.. kid has been killing and his boot is massive.
- And Fitzgerald the 7 drops it early in the set ffs... but we find our way back a few sets later.. and Fitzgerald kicks it about 15m too deep with his grubber.. ffs.
- I've been high on Sager the winger in weeks gone by, like his frame and height.. but had a few not so good moments in the last 2 weeks.. need to see how he develops but hes no sure thing..
- Ok Fitzgerald finally contributes.. a grubber that looked like it was going to roll over the sideline, but the winger Cale Parr just managed to get there in time.. another damn try on the very touchline.. this time the right side.. Coehlo absolutely sends it through the centre of the sticks from both touchlines now.. this could be our boy.. 14-0.
- Coehlo on the next attacking raid gets a short ball to his forward Duffy who crashes over for a good try.. under the sticks for once, 20-0. Err looks like a wests player said something pretty bad cause hes been sent off!
- The Fangupo mullet flies out of the line and generates an error from wests on the next set.. becoming a good bench forward, rly want him to make it.. looks like a cult hero if he did.
- Tausala is somehow on report with the ball in hand... I have genuinely NFI what that was for.. and off the next set Wests burn us on the outside to score in the corner, Burton flew across to tackle him as he put it down but unable to stop it.. 20-6, they are looking much more dangerous now.. even with a man down.. and as I say that Sager gets caught out unable to turn around fast enough and Wests score on the opposite touchline.. very very dissapointing when you consider they are a man down... 20-10. Half Time.
- Caught the 2nd half just quickly.. from 20-0 up and a West player sent for most of the game.. Wests go on to score 2 tries in about 3 minutes, the 2nd one a long range intercept.. to be in the lead 20-22.. thankfully still 20mins to go atleast.. but a real worry..
- We get back into gear soon after.. big run from Burton (about 12m PCM) then another big beast run from Amone (whos playing 8 today btw) and off the back Amone has his 2nd run and is able to crash over next to the sticks.. phew 26-22.
- And again we attack from our line with a rly good set, nearly score a few times and eventually the stand in hooker Te Ra Chase has some nice little runs and is able to get a ball out on the ground.. picked up by the 2nd rower Barter who gets a ball to his winger Sager who is able to dive into the corner.. 30-22 up and we can breath.. but still 10mins left.
- No change to the score.. this U17's side is surviving by the skin of their teeth.. absolutely not going to challenge in finals unless they can get their halves sorted imo, but 4 wins from 5 games.. they are finally into the Top5.. just hope they can get Chapman, Amone, Burton and Coehlo fit and playing together to finish the season.. they r the heart of that side.. Tausala also has been important.
