Can't agree with Tapine now we have KK on the way. Couchmans, KK and one more good prop, hopefully LPT. Best front row rotation I can remember seeing at any club. Maybe Wayman, Poore, Saffy, Prior was better.

If he does play & we lose an outside back then it'll be interesting which reserve fwd misses out playing. Our bench v Dogs was Kerr/Stewart/Couchman/Lawrie.

Lawrie didn't play because of Suli HIA & Feagai played instead. I assume if Lidds is picked then Lawrie misses out. I'd start Kerr & put Guler on the bench, only play him if required. My bench would be: Lidds/Stewart/Couchman/Guler.

If Lids is fit he has to be on the bench. I believe that Lawrie will drop out but who knows .

With both Couchmans and Stewart in the middle, I doubt they will have much on us if anything in the middle. As it was for the Bullgrubs game. But 1~7 is a big worry. Not that they are so much better. They are but that's not what I mean. They are so much faster. That is the problem.

Actually believe it or not in the last 8 games between these coaches Flanagan leads 6 - 2

If they are complacent again this year I will be shocked.. but prob best we can hope for is to be solid defensively like we were with the dogs.. i.e. stay in the contest.. and then we can see what happens if we are good enough in the 2nd half.

Lets also see if Val is named or not.

So the team lists are in and as I suspected and mentioned in another pre season thread no Liddle named in game 2.

I said at that time a grade 3 hamstring tear in my day was about a 2-3 month recovery. Hoping I was wrong, still hoping I'm wrong.

Has anyone information whether he has started strengthening running at training yet? Maybe next round or round 4?

Its now going to make it very tough for us to beat the Storm with Cook our only recognised 9.

Defensively, I think that we can match it with the Storm, its the lack of true attacking weapons that I am afraid to say could let us down. If they score 4 tries (which I feel will be more), with us defending the way we have, are we capable of scoring 5 tries and converting them to win by 6? Meaney has a good conversion rate while Holmes has tended to miss quite a few unfortunately and this could prove the difference.

We have to hold them to about the same points as the Dogs
