lets see what they do with Nick, I know the temptation is there to keep playing him @ctr, but i dont think it helps him or us, like is he learning his craft as a 2nd rower which I think is what he is. Do agree though that Coutts is good enough to be in the 17 somewhere....

In my personal opinion I think he has been disappointing, touted as having elite speed, didn't see any of that just lots of mistakes.

Is it just me or are hamstring injuries more common than in the 80's and 90's? I don't remember so many hamstring injuries back in those days. Today it was Ponga. Last year I remember many including Fanworth, Turbo, Lucas, Tuipulotu

And people calling for him to be in the first grade team after seeing his RU 7's highlights before even playing a trial, hopefully he is released during the year so he can go back to RU and it free's up a spot for us..

was such a tease in that trial - the leap catch grubber ...
He'll be OK this year as OB cover on a cheap contract. It's not like freeing up the roster spot enables us to sign Brian To'o.

Still feel there is talent in Lawson we (and/or he) didn't manage to unlock.. he looked rly elusive the way he ran in his first trial and I think its just his lack of size to brush off tackles in our game.. so he had to 'rugba league' himself and now hes sort of just an ok outside back without a lot of league experience, and he's 27 so the window has passed to learn it.. real shame honestly.. esp as all his rugby mates have been killing it.
