Buchanan being named on the interchange bench means we have an outside back on our bench if an injury occurs.
Another option would be for a late change to the starting line up, with Gutho moving to 5/8, Holmes to fullback, Buchanan starting at centre and Kyle dropped to the bench, but I doubt that will happen.
It also indicates that Buchanan is closer to being named in the starting team.

There must be a lot of the squad pissed at KF. How many more games would they have won with a decent 5/8 then 1/2 now 5/8 again?
Also the guys being dropped like Sele last week have every right to point out KF was the worst player on the field, as he is most weeks.

Yes, hence I wrote only centre cover. An OB should be able to cover multiple positions for the purposes of our team. Holmes isn't fit enough to play fullback, he couldn't do it for 20mins, yet alone 80mins. I hope buchanan swaps out for Sloan.

Powerful bench with both young guns Loko and Jake raring to rip in. Is this the first time they have played together in top grade. A big loss but Ryan gets lucky with only 4 games, while thankfully Toby should be back next week.

What a good, young pack when the Couchmans are back. But why won't Flanno pick Nick T? Didn't he watch reserve grade last week? He menaced the previously unbeaten Eels in attack and defence. Flanno's selections make little sense to me. It reminds me of him not picking LKT to go to Veges. What was he thinking then and what is he thinking now in continuing to not give Nick T a chance?

Nick was among my best. Only reason is no room for him as his position is on the edge, so are you gonna drop either Luch or Jadyn given the form they're in. Dylan Egan will be back in a couple of weeks and no way should he be usurping either of those two either.
