I’d like to see Nick T in there somewhere too
i dont hate Nick, i just rate the other 8 above him and with his current injury is behind Egan in when he will be available again.

Didnt I make a recent post about a defensive stat of Youngs that refuted all this criticism.I really cannot agree with you on this.
Yep, really sad that we have reached this decision about those 3. They appear to have gone backwards and once that happens, bang, that's it you cannot get back to the same ability again. It is what age and those injuries and aches and pains that bring them undone and our coaches and recruitment staff I hope will not go in that direction again - especially offering 3 year terms. Our big 3 signings have all been major failures for the most part. Gutho was good last season, so too Holmes. Cook was good in patches. But 3 year deals for players who were definitely past their best was simply ludicrous and it’s showing right now. They no longer have the energy or passion/drive, and most importantly, physical capabilities they may have had upon arrival to the club, simply because they are far past it.
I saw it mate and made me wince. These guys missing simple tackles because their hearts arent in it, or are too slow or lazy, unlike those half dozen that top the affective tackle count every week. These weak defenders have learnt nothing even by having had the guy with arguably the best tackling technique in the game, JDB as a role model. They dont deserve to be wearing a RedV jumper.Poor defense in general play and allowing off loads that led to plenty of ground being gained by the opposition and not making tackles to allow players to run and set up another to score.
I haven't sighted it RVH. I am only going on what I think about Young that I don't go for him even though his stats might be OK. Sorry.Didnt I make a recent post of a defensive stat about Young that refuted all this criticism.
Putting away our deficiencies in both attack (execution was so bad yesterday) and defense of late, full credit must go to the Cowboys for digging in and scoring good tries and backing that up with solid defence to beat us to nil. This win to them against us is now 7 in a row. They have had our measure for a couple of years.I saw it mate and made me wince. Your opinion and you are entitled to it David. It was an NRL stat from memory.I haven't sighted it RVH. I am only going on what I think about Young that I don't go for him even though his stats might be OK. Sorry.
Val might still be okay but he needs to be on his favourite side! Why Flanno has persisted with moving him to the other is a mystery. Cook as well but Liddle should be on for longer than 20 minutes! Gutho is done.Yep, really sad that we have reached this decision about those 3. Who is our next executioner, if we retain the same 17.Putting away our deficiencies in both attack (execution was so bad yesterday) and defense of late, full credit must go to the Cowboys for digging in and scoring good tries and backing that up with solid defence to beat us to nil. This win to them against us is now 7 in a row. They have had our measure for a couple of years.
I note that at this stage of the week, nobody has bothered to start the next game Thread so I'll be the sucker. Cheers.
Bizarre. Check out his stats pre Cook arriving with todays. This poor excuse for a coach brings his favorite Cook here then relegates our best hooker as a bench warmer. Now he is giving Liddle only 20 min game time, a disgrace.Liddle should be on for longer than 20 minutes
Does Flanno just not like him? Did he fall out with Kyle? I read somewhere, maybe here, Flanno didn't want to re-sign Liddle. The CEO had to intervene.Bizarre. Check out his stats pre Cook arriving with today. But only 20 mins game time is a disgrace by this poor excuse for a coach. He brings Cook here then relegates our best hooker as a bench warmer. Brilliant strategy.
He clearly doesn't like him.Does Flanno just not like him? Did he fall out with Kyle? I read somewhere, maybe here, Flanno didn't want to re-sign Liddle. The CEO had to intervene.
That has been one of the most grating aspects for me about his coaching, his playing favorites and having a hate in for some players and a love in with others. This is divisive and counter productive and something a coach should never do. I have coached cricket teams in my past so know something about coaching etiquette.Does Flanno just not like him?
...and in that short 20 mins he made 21 tackles and ran 36m. Cook in 60 min 40/62 and in many of his tackles, unlike Liddle, he is not always first in.Liddle should be on for longer than 20 minutes!
What, the guy who kills our chances or the guy who can execute his skills to win us the games? Any number will kill our chances and if Holmes can get back his #3 jersey then he could be the one who can execute well enough and get things right for wins.Who is our next executioner, if we retain the same 17.
I meant who is our next opposition. But I prefer your analysis more. We sure have guys executing us with their lack of discipline, skill, intent, stamina. Has Flanagan been blind these past two yrs and a bit!!!What, the guy who kills our chances or the guy who can execute his skills to win us the games? Any number will kill our chances and if Holmes can get back his #3 jersey then he could be the one who can execute well enough and get things right for wins.
