Outside of Hamole, I think our forwards will do the job, have been all season. Getting the ball upfield usually isn’t an issue.
Problem is Fogarty is too smart, he can run and kick us to death. Very dangerous.
Their backline just oozes speed from 1 to 5. I hope you’re right mate, unfortunately my eyes only see a comfortable Manly win if they complete above 80% of their sets. Sad times my friend

I agree and would add Lawrie to the list, even though he tries hard. How often does he get the ball when we are on the attack close to the opposition try line going for the barge over, but he never scores. If we had Pasifiki Tonga taking the same runs, he would be much more likely to score that situation than Lawrie.

100% mate, I think people forget we have lost 9 in a row, seems like to me we are way past the honesty session. Personally I dont think Manly are just going to come out and roll over because now we are desperate. We have multiple weak links all over the shop and they will be attacking all of them smelling blood in the water. I hope we give a good account of ourselves and hope like Jesus if Reed plays there are no injuries. After witnessing what I saw over the last 2 weeks, this is not fixable in 6 days.

We lack those players who can break the line, are fast, and can score from half way. The coach can ask players to take chances but to me that just means more offloads and 2nd phase footy. But to who?

He's a lot better than KF. I can tell you that for a fact. On anther thread weren't you dreaming of signing Ivan and Nathan Cleary? You weren't too worried about a roadblock to Reed then. Anyway, Manly only signed him for 2 years because they have their own version of Reed who they don't want to Rush

Flanno said that in pre season, obviously a lot easier said than done. I think KF's version of freedom is throwing a dummy to get through the line.

Nathan Cleary and Fogerty are 2 completely different propositions. A package deal of Nathan and Ivan is also a completely different proposition than Fogerty. If we signed Nathan and Ivan, Ivan would have the option of keeping Reed or bringing Jet here. As everyone knows, I am a fan of Reed and have been calling for him to be selected since the Charity Shield.
Hypothetically if we did sign Ivan, Nathan and Jet for 2028, I don't think many Saints fans would be complaining. It would be miraculous.
