Maybe it's for the better. If this is a loss in a scale a lot of people are predicting, it will be fitting if KF, not LKT is part of it. But I don't think it will. Our forwards will hold their own if not get the better Penriffs. In the backs it's the biggest mismatch of all time but forwards will ensure it isn't as bad as a lot are predicting.

The other concern I have is its rained literally all week up here in Brisbane, but been back to hot and sunny for most of today.. just hope the field holds up cause otherwise being the last game.. could we cop more injuries off the back?

2pm Edit: It's back to pi$$ing down again..

Also secretly hoping Ivan Cleary feels a bit sorry for us when he sees the final 13, and gives his stars plenty of breaks.

Been raining on and off all day here on the Goldie more heading to Lang Park. Ease off this arvo and Saturday then back Sunday arvo. Should be a cow paddock by the time we take the field with most of the crowd on trains home.

Unfortunately the competition at the moment only 4 points seperating 1 to 4 so the professional Ivan Cleary will want to put us to the sword and get their differential looking even better before the origin period starts. Its only +181 to -185.

Spoke to soon.. back to some pretty windy/rainy weather now in brissie again.. i know the ground will dry quickly but its less than ideal.. hopefully its atleast sunny for supporters..

Cook? Cook won't be doing any more than he needs to do. He was in his own words filthy with the Dragons management in relation to his extension. Once Liddle is fit he won't even be starting. Just my views

Don't get feisty Im not having a personal go at you but Cook looks to me as he is going through the motions. I hope he has a blinder but all I can see today is our forwards holding their own but our backline completely overwhelmed.

I changed my bet to
Panthers by 26 plus points
If we manage a try or 2 I have TU and Stewart to score a meat pie
