Really hope we can resign LPT. Our young forwards this year have been immense and with the addition of Keaon our forward pack could be set in stone for the next 5+ years. Having the ability to have 3 of Keaon, Toby, Ryan, Stewart, Loko on the field at all times is elite. With the likes of Egan on the edge it is going to be a blessing/ strength for our club. Still have the likes of Halangahu etc that can be woven in aswell

Now you mention it, is Halangahu superfluous to our needs now he is playing in the middle rather than an edge?

1.25 mil for Ponga isn't that bad. But 1.25 mil for 10 years for Dylan Brown is utterly ridiculous. It will be biting Newcastle for many years to come.

If you go back on my input here I said a year or so ago the way the game is getting faster , I was all for Dufty coming back but no takers until South did and watching him again playing right now , better than anything we have ....... Has speed and can ball play ....... Also young Ward playing for them ........

You were right. A year ago I wouldn't have been in favour of signing Dufty. In hindsight, big mistake. But who saw Gutho declining so fast and so far? As is now, I almost feel sorry for him. Ending his career on this note couldn't be much fun though the almost 1 mil a year the club is paying him is probably lessening the pain

I said no to Dufty when someone mentioned him at fullback and Sloan on the wing, but he has improved and is way better than anything we have currently, he also offers heaps of try assists, which neither of Gutho or Sloan are capable of currently, but for next year we have Drinkwater who is way better anyway..

Yep agree but would have been great this year and would of got him for nothing ...... But Dufty , Ward not Flanno's type of player not big and slow , all he wanted bulky players to cart the ball up nothing else ........

KF needs to be replaced by LKT now. No use playing with 12 players on the field each game. Put him there and stick with him, can’t be any worse than the week to week stuff they’re throwing up
