Looking at how things are going since Deano took over, I don't want him as head coach. Not by himself other with Ben Hornby. He seems to be out of ideas.

Sometimes I'm a big slow. Or some might say usually a bit slow.
Does that mean you are in favour of Hornby being appointed? I went for Cheika > Arthur > Talau.
I imagine Talau is a bit of a stretch. Has to do at least a couple of seasons as an assistant first. Arthur is staying put where he is. So Cheika it is for me.
The interviews are still ongoing as far as I know.

I voted Arthur but that didn't work out. My opinion is that it's best not to become attached to any outcome because you're bound to be upset. They all have benefits and risks... and ultimately we have absolutely no control over it. Why worry
A poster on Jubilee Ave who is credible stated that Cheika was not one of the three shortlisted for an interview.

That"s true Zen. Needless to worry. Whatever is decided, those who make the decision are held responsible and we have no bearing on the outcome in the years going forward. We can see where this is going to go and I don't think it will be very pleasant.

I think the club was waiting for a couple wins to announce Young but that will never happen.
So the announcement will be after a good performance game like on the weekend.

Yes think you are right unfortunately.
I haven’t seen one supportive post promoting Young from posters on here or Jubilee Ave. I know most of us are “just fans” but it makes you wonder how the board sees it so differently to the majority of us.

So depressing and amatuerish. Just have a look at his record! He might be a good head coach one day but for now, he needs to show much more as an assistant.

My thoughts exactly. This was pretty clear right from the start when Flanagan was sacked and they were clearly very happy just to do nothing and give Young his chance.
Since then the maneuvering of the club to make this a reality has been embarrassingly obvious. Either the Board think they are being very clever and sneaky when the reality is we can all see what these pinheads are doing, or they are copying a certain US president and simply don't give a sh.t what anyone else thinks.
I was pleased when Creagh got his promotion but if this becomes a reality then I will think less of him going forward. If I was DA I would be annoyed, having worked so hard to assemble a stronger squad for next season, to see the lack of due diligence in terms of who gets to manage the team.
Assuming the 16th ranked team don’t run up a big score against us?
