I kinda meant if we land a strike centre/wing for '27 Jd as our recruitment team are aiming for.
Here is one suggestion from out of the box for such a player, former Wallaby Jordan Petaia. Now before you say 'your kidding', fact is we tried to get him a couple of yrs back, or he was on our radar but he decided to give American NFL a crack instead. That lasted all of one yr. Hearing he has left French rugby and is not in new Wallaby coach Les Kiss' current plans. Petaia is a weapon and is versatile, plays, outside centre, full back or wing. Only a pipe dream as his name has probably not even crossed Ando's mind.

Still holding out hope for Te Moananui, who imho has the most natural skill/talent of the trio. But if as it appears that he is prone to concussion injury, this can lead to a premature medically retired situation as I have seen in cricket. I hope not the case with Lyric. Jesse Williams another with natural talent also seems injury prone. In the last game I saw from him about a month ago he was in one word, brilliant.

I hold out hope for all the talent juniors and Te Moananui is one of them. But realistically, right now he seems well behind Burton and Heidke.

We should really look at that Roosters player in the no 18shirt. He has speed, great hands, always there to support others, makes breaks and is loyal.

thats my feelings as well on the first half of it, was just running (slowly) into open gaps and one where he caught a bomb.. not dissing him I know we were looking at him a few years back, but he looks a bit big and solid, he would be an absolute speculator on a bare bones deal perheaps.. but prob rather just nab a young one out of NSW/QLD Cup if we dont think Toby or Charlie r rdy for 2027.
