What a week for tipping! Almost everyone got 6 or 7 from 8.
Eric wins 8 points and gets 2 bonus points for the correct for and against.

Dragon David picked Warriors to beat Penrith, a big upset considering recent form and Dragons to win but inexplicably came in second due to picking Canberra to beat Newcastle.
Dragons Chris gets 2 points for third place but also 2 bonus points for correct for and against.
Eric wins 8 points and gets 2 bonus points for the correct for and against.

I find tipping contests somewhat incongruous. In other words, the contest clashes with who you are loyal to. The problem is as we all know, for this year in particular, our winning games this year have been at an all time low so we tip the other club and during the game you are in two minds (Jeckyll and Hyde situation) you are hoping that the Dragons win, but at the same you are hoping the other team wins because you picked them. Same as if you detest say the Bulldogs, which I do intensely, but you pick them to win against the Eels and you find yourself barracking for the Bulldogs. In many ways because of this, I most probably won't be that keen to go in next years one. I love the Dragons and they will be stronger next year and I want to go all out for them to win without having to tip a team to beat them in a tipping contest. Sorry guys. It's the superstition that lives within me - my superstition is that this year we had this tipping contest for the first time and, for the first time, the Dragons will end up wooden spooners.
