I had a look at the TitansSM website.. they have heaps of our guys (including Stewart, Egan, Reed, Atko) but none of the 4 who extended recently.. maybe we did it as a favour or related to Atkinson.. but I doubt it tbh..

Maybe if Haele, Kyle, Fagalilo and/or Connor are leaving, maybe they see O'Neill as hooker/utility depth? Otherwise i dont understand it, O'Neill was rly useful this year for the cup team.. but pretty sure Hammoud and Hodges and probably Fagalilo all age out of 21's.. they are surely all better prospects than O'Neill.. Not meaning to be so harsh on the kid, I just thought he was the most obvious guy we would move to fix the glut of 6's in our system that arent up to first grade (either due to ability, or young age)... we needed to clear the decks.

Just an edit.. someone else mentioned whether they had any centres we might be interested in.. Kris, Schoupp or Schiller maybe?

It’s run by David Riolo and have an office based in figtree or where the collegians play IIRC

We should always try and have a solid relationship with them. I think we do judging by how I’ve heard Riolo and Steve Gillis talk about D Anderson

We need ob's that have multiple strengths. Can't be 1 trick ponies. Speed & power etc.
1. Drinky- Speed & ball playing
2. Sami - Speed & power
3. Holmes - Speed
4. Suli - power
5. Tu? - power

Need to find another ob with combo of strengths. Hopefully Holmes gets that explosive power back. I was bummed out when alamoti re-signed. He would've been perfect for our backline.

Thanks Mug I was only guessing anyway, but considering Atkinsons performance yesterday, his try assists would be a distant memory.
It's misleading. They throw try assists at some people while others can't buy one. The bottom line, LKT is a far better than Atko and KF. Which is a very low bar. Still can't believe so many Dragons fans thought this dude, Atko was going to some kind of star when he was a 24 year-old Shonkies reserve grader.

I think at that time mate the way the club was heading we were willing to grasp at anything involving recruits. Before DA's time of course. But yep totally agree, there was nothing in his game that suggested star, just a Flanno white wash that he finally scored someone.

Also, LKT's try involvements are great. He actually is the one that creates the opportunities for a lot of our tries on the left. He does such a good job of straightening and finding the right pass to actually create the space for our left edge.

If we could get rid of Suli, Manu might work but yeah for us.. but dont think we would have the funds for 2027.. he is a gamble also but its 1yr.. and who wouldnt be a gamble.. 2028 purchase is another story (Herbie, Bostock etc).

Joey Manu being offered to clubs on a one year deal before heading to PNG

My money’s on the eels signing him
A lot of people know much better than me but IMO, it's a bandaid solution we don't need. We need a good outside back but for only one year is a bandaid solution. Save the money and work toward something more long-term. Like Burton, Heidke, Williams and I'm glad Rumble was upgraded. Once he fills out a bit, I'm thinking Jack Bostock 2.0.

Yep no more band aids Eric. They're only good for short term cover up and don't heal the long term problem. We need to focus on those players you mentioned. It's all about the money these guys are going for to play with the Chiefs and I guess to say they took part in helping the 19th team to get established.

When 2028 comes around I'd like to see the Perth Bears take on the PNG Chiefs for their first game in the NRL. What say you that in 2027 the Dragons take on the Perth Bears at their home ground to start their inaugural game in the NRL. I think we have a good following over there.
