Is there any indication he can play hooker? Seems it's popular nowadays to automatically think a halfback can make it as a hooker. Maybe due to our old halfback being a much better hooker than halfback.

Last year at the doggies when Sexton dropped back to Cup he partnered with Woods in the halves
That forced ONeill into that bench role where he played a little hooker/lock
Unsure how well he performed in that role though

So in terms of rounding everything out ...
Of the players off contract we have seen either a news article on Dragons website (Guler/Lawson) or Thank You insta stories (Cook/Feagai/Lawrie/Leilua/Sele/Sloan/Sua)
All that is remaining is Tui (hope that one is published today).
Then of course the hope that somehow we can shed one of the 5 x under contract under performing money sinks (Suli/Flano/Gutho/Holmes/Kerr)

Do you mean Tu? I thought considering the money he is on, he's the least of our trouble. KF is the absolute priority and Gutho is next. Then Suli, Kerr.
Giving up on Holmes? I thought with a much better backline in 2027 he might go ok.

No, except a lot of halfbacks have transitioned to hooker and he seems to have the build and possibly the toughness for a hooker. And, the fact we have too many halves and not enough hookers. TBH its the only reason I can think as to why the club extended him recently.

Nah ... Tuipulotu's contract is up this year - we know though that the club does have a track record to extending planks ... So until i see the "thanks moneyman" insta story i am still worried

Return as some kind of forwards coach or defence coach or something like that but honestly, Couchmans, LPT, Egan made him look very ordinary yesterday. Next year we are going to have Halangahu every week and Hutchinson will be pushing for a spot as well.

Reading about the Dolphins struggle to keep all of their outside backs. They are not only very good but young. Just coming into their prime now. If Bostock has a big game tomorrow, it might mean his price tag goes up so Dolphins can't match it.
Then again, Dragons have so much money tied up in the forwards, it might mean we have to wait until Gutho, Flanno, Suli are off the books at the end of next year.

it is the same discussion .. Bostock is available to talk to Nov 1 but not available to start until 2028 when Nuffo/Holmes/Suli/Kyle/Kerr etc are gone.
The local junior situation is helping us with the pack a little here as is TPA sponsorship ... We have the dollars to make an offer, just hope that he wants to come back and play with his former team mates etc.
In 2022 he was playing SG ball for the steelers in a team featuring others like the Couchmen, Webster, Egan, Tsougrannis, Stewart. Hope those relationships run deep.

Nope - and i doubt we are interested.
The club are more interested in buying back the farm and cementing pathways than they would be in chasing Herbie. Best situation for us is other clubs chase herbie pushing his price but he stays at the fins.
