Agree and that in my experience is not a good scenario. Head Coaching no matter at what level is akin to a player. If you do not have pressure on your position in 1sts from a ressies player then human nature dictates that you are not going to be performing at your optimum level on a consistent basis. There is no fear factor. Nothing pushing you onwards and upwards. Seen that far too many times myself. Just my views.
these were my exact thoughts.. dunno if Talau will want another year in NSW Cup.. may mean he moves on. Lets see.. not sure if there is room for 3 assistants.

is Deano already playing politics by not appointing the most qualified assistant but rather an assistant who will never be appointed to take his place? Like Deano too Flanno's place and Carr too Griffin's place.
Yes surly Willie would move on I would have thought for sure he would help Dean but since he has been over looked he would have to move on. Or does he stay NSW Coach

Yes, we are all looking forward to 2027 with high anticipation of better things for the Dragons and obviously ourselves.
The assistant coaching appointments as you know have not as yet been made official via the website. When that happens I am sure that the club will announce all of the staff in 2027 including assistant coaches, coaches for the lower grades and appropriate write ups on them.
