Agreed, watching the U17 Steelers last year, Coehlo was one of my faves @ hooker.. but when he went off and Chase the #14 came on... it was a huge momentum booster, the kid really does play whats in front of him... rly creative..

Was it schoolboys we were watching him @ 5/8 and murdering teams? That might be his longterm position, he doesnt seem physically like a 9.. and maybe its a waste of his creativity to have him tackling so much.... but either way.. u want him in ur squad..

He is a little hit and miss for me not much consistency but time will tell.

Eden Hodges will be rewarded for his great form with an extended and upgraded contract.

This one was on the cards for a while, it was just a matter of working out the weeks for him and others.

What I like about Eden, he is willing to wait and learn his trade.
If we handle this right and get his development and debut right he could be our long term 6.

Pretty much what you said.

You would think Kyle is out of the picture
Dan maybe utility, centre.
That leaves the club a decision between Lyhkan and Eden, a decision I've already made.

2 years together forming a partnership then promote whoever is ready in their correct position.

Luke then plays the other 6 or 7 in a mentor role.
Basically what Penrith did.

Its a great qn... its also why O'Neill's extension made less than no sense to me.. wouldnt surprise me if 1 or 2 leave early tbh...

LKT tbf is probably our 1st up Nikorima replacement.. couple of em will be on 1st grade extended.. but they will need footy.
