Not so sure. What is his most suited position. He has been tried at dummy half, at half as chief play maker. Did not set world on fire on either occasion. He lacks organization skills. I think we have a superior running 5/8 in his mate Junior Amone. So guys where do we play him.

His best position is definitely halfback. He's only had one chance so far. As you said, hardly set the world on fire but it was only 1 game! Why not give him the last 4 games to show he is up to it or not? If so, the Dragons have their halfback for the next 10 years. If not, let him go to the Grubs.

The Pommie prop? Is he on the outer with the Dogs. Didn't the scribes call him the world's best prop before he landed here. So why are Dogs trying to off load him. Surely they can ill afford to lose a good player after their abysmal past two seasons.

Sully played 9 last year at season's end played 4 or so games at 9 and played well , and he is tough as they come .....

He's had several chances at 9. Didn't set the world on fire but didn't completely blow it either. Only had one chance at 7.

Sorry mate but I seen a lot more in him than you did ..... Respect your opinion , but mine differs , the kid is better than what we have now and if Hunt is staying on and Hook is smart enough he should be rotating both in games ...... Rather this than losing him ......

I can safely say that Hunt is our no.7 at least until the end of his current contract in 23. McCullough also under contract until 23. Sullivan is contracted until the end of 25. My thought process is that if Hunt decides to extend his career until 25 with us I believe it will be under a new coaching regime. If that's the case perhaps in 24 he will revert to hooker and Sullivan to no.7 alternatively he doesn't extend after 23 and once again Sullivan will be our no. 7. McCullough will end his playing career in 23 with us. That is why I have confidently predicted a competitive team in 25. Time will tell.

Under a new coaching regime, I doubt Hunt will be kept unless he takes a very large pay cut.

To be brutally honest the footage we peasants are given to actually gauge the ability of these juniors is minimal at best. Virtually nothing can be seen of them in Flegg or junior rep comps where they develop unless you go to a live match.

Have to rely a lot on rumour and hearsay. There has been a lot of it in a good way regarding Sullivan but this coach won't allow him more than the one chance he's had in his natural position.

I don't know what's going on with him now. Is he injured? I watched a little of their game against NQ and he wasn't playing. I know during the off season there was a rumour the Dogs were trying to offload him due to his massive contract. I think he's on around 900K a year. Good prop for sure but I'd say he's worth not more than 750K a year.

See if you can get hold of some Junior Kangaroo v Kiwis footage of Boyd from a few years back. I can not believe he has gone from producing such a play making masterclass that pretty much sank the Kiwis single handedly in both Tests to today being unable to make the Titans top 13...

Can not see Hunt wanting to remain in Sydney. He'll want to return home. He is a from Rockhampton so if that is Cowboys territory he may take up their offer.
