Sad really. A lot of us pinned our hopes on him especially seeing how well he played in a couple of games when at Cronulla and Flanno just couldn't resist signing him well in advance. I'd love us to get Jock Madden. He is a very good 5/8th in my opinion.

Definitely. Our squad has so many deficiencies it's not funny. The backs are slow as shit, the forwards lack punch and authority. A massive purge needs to take place. I am not sure now about the young ones we have as having all round strength and resilience to play tough all through the game...

In other words - they lack acceleration, anticipation and are indecisive. They don't appear to be able to think of one or more moves ahead because they lack foresight. They are not proactive. In most team sports you play for each other and work out ways to get on top of the opposition...
