Yes agreed Justa. The players need to put in 100% and not "business as usual". They need to focus and get the job done effectively and with conviction. Whomever is in charge of making sure that they do not muck up has to be on his toes and keep them under control.
Remembering in 2004 when...
See, this how I perceive things. When a coach gives negative praise for players and positive to others, there will be ill feeling for those given the negative and getting all antsy while the positive ones think that "hmmm I didn't think I was that great so is that the standard that coachy...
Another big, go forward, mongrel prop wouldn't go astray GCRV. Need quality backs as well as it would be of no use if the big mongrel forwards pave the way up the middle to having no-one to effectively finish off the forwards' progression to the try line.
Not knowing what has agitated LPT, it would appear though that with his exclusion from the squad going to Vegas, there is something amiss. I certainly thought that if LPT was injury free, he would be in Vegas now with the other boys all getting acclimatised with the conditions and atmosphere...
I thought that one of the aims of the club - with Tim Watsford as the CEO - would be to ensure that pathways and development would be of high priority for the club? Daniel Anderson has the role of Recruitment, Retention and Pathways Manager.
The 2026 focus is on building a sustainable...
Your guess is as good as mine, I guess. My guess is - intense competition, salary cap constraints, and the need for veteran leadership have forced changes in the roster composition for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. I think Brisbane still have Patrick Carrigan, Ezra Mam, Kotoni Staggs, Jordan Riki...
We know that winning the comp is every clubs aim each year. We also know that there are a few clubs that are perennial top 4-8. These clubs have good player drawing power because of these yearly successes and of course with the high standard coaches, administration and in some cases a third...
Kade Reed comes across as being the halfback for our future. As Mug Fan has posted, Reed has not missed 27 games even though much has been said of his physicality and low weight. He has shown that he has ability to play at all levels at a young age and with the experience that he is getting...
Just want to add that the Storm this year to me don't appear to have firepower in the forwards nor strength in the backs. The halves of Hughes and Munster and Grant at hooker are great but somehow not looking as strong overall. Could be a leaner year than others for the Storm.
If we had won...
Early days yet but looks to have so much ability to help the Tigers. Too bad this guy isn't one of ours and we would be rightly talking about him on the Dragons Forum - but he aint ...😟😟
I hope we can blacksafake. While our guys didn't win the Charity Shield, the competition points are the ones we want. If the Storm don't win their first game of the comp against the Eels (a tradition that they do - have not lost the first game of the comp since Bellamy became the coach) then...
Are these 2026 trial wins by the Eels over the Roosters, Titans over the Storm etc. a pointer as to how well the Eels and Titans etc. will go this year. That is will they be top 8. Trial games to me are misleading. We know that ever since Bellamy has coached the Storm they have never lost...
