Wish we had Bostock's signature before last night's game. It would have been a bargain before his hat trick and overall game. His slip pass to a flying Walsh was a beauty. A great game of footy.
Anyone wanting to make a case as to who ever was in recruiting to allow Bostock to walk out the door should have been immediately sacked. And before anyone says we cant keep them all, please tell me who we kept in his place. One of the biggest f#@kups ever !!!

Great game of footy that I have seen in a while, no one deserved to lose.

Hey Justa here is your answer:-

At the time Jack Bostock was signed by the Dolphins from the Illawarra/Dragons pathways system in May 2022, the leadership roles at the St. George Illawarra Dragons were held by:
Bostock was overlooked by the Dragons' coaching and recruitment staff before being identified by Dolphins recruitment boss Peter O'Sullivan and head coach Wayne Bennett.

Apparently Peter O'Sullivan's son happened to be down in the Illawarra area and a game was being played - Illawarra Steelers game - in which Bostock was playing in 2022. Bostock scored a couple of tries and played a blinder and Sean noticed him and rang up his Dad and that was the end of Jack being a Dragon.

Our frigging Coaches and Pathways jerks had no clue - especially Millward.

I remember reading on here, our Pathways had a tiny budget. I'm not sure it wasn't that Millward and etc didn't rate him, it's just due to the tiny budget they had to work with and to sign players with, the Dolphins blew our offer out of the water.

Mr. Jack de Belin had a strong game for PNG. He's without a contract for next year. Over to you Ando!

Joke. Jack says he knocked back a few ESL offers because he believes he's still go another year of NRL left in him. Seriously Jack, you are starting to make yourself look silly. Not first grade standard anymore. Possibly still NSW Cup standard but more likely Illawarra competition.

All 3 of those idiots should have been hung out to dry in front of WIN stadium. So in one viewing he was immediately recognized, and yet he was playing for Illawarra where we didn't have a clue. Complete f#@kwits all three of them, you would think Timmins would have known better.

A tiny budget to match their tiny brains. Well they should slap that right in the face of one Mr Gordon, fancy calling our COE after him infront of all the legends we have had. The only place worthy of that guys name is the toilet block on top of the hill at WIN

He has embarrassed himself a couple of times this year trying to keep up with defense, he'll be worse next year. Give it away mate !!!

My theory on this Eric is , if you know you have a talent and you are desperate to keep him, then you go and find the money and make shit work. Many other clubs do it.

They didn't know shit from clay and had their favourites so as far as they were concerned all was good. They thought they knew it all - Griffin all but forgotten and Millward far away from the east coast. Timmins had no say i bet.
