I agree it does fit in a lot of ways, but I was looking at his stats this year, and he doesnt do long minutes, and his tackle % is not too good even in those short stints.. so i dont think he sounds like a flanno kind of signing... he has only just turned 20 though and hes a gun offensively... maybe he comes good but yeah dunno if itll be with us.

ooh I missed this post.. I was just contemplating that he must be in cooldown...
and thinking after the way he and cook worked so well on the weekend.. maybe would he reconsider.. hes still gonna have croker in front of him at manly right? And Croker is 5yrs younger than Cook.. and Cook can play other positions which means Liddle can get into the game at the same time...

Manly have currently JTevaga, JSimpkin, LCroker, Gordon Chan Kum Tong as hookers.
Liddle is about 2months older than Croker, just checked, i can see Croker starting and Liddle as #14..

Yaa I was just thinking Cook is gone in 1-2yrs tops and Liddle is literally the only other genuine hooker in the system.... Croker could have 5 more years yet... I dont rly know how Croker and Liddle compare talent-wise.. im sure Kum Tong @23yrs of age wont be stoked about Liddle being signed however.
Lets hope the rumour that he has re-nigged the deal is true.. I just dont see us signing a replacement that is going to be an upgrade on Liddle.. that Da Silva kid could be a prodigy, but based on his minutes and missed tackles... I think he is yrs away from a guy we could rely on.

Is it confirmed? Mixed feelings. Does some really good things, like that first try yesterday but how bad has his defence been for a few years now? Not really getting any better.

Yeah I dont know Ryan, I'm just going off a previous post, if that is the case there would be a lot of fans spewing over it. It would be that none of the big 3 Sullivan, Amone and Sloan never survived at the Dragons.

Mailroomsgi but it hasn't been confirmed yet so media wouldn't talk about it. Specially with Origin just around the corner and a big team like the Broncos seemingly in free-fall. In the off season someone might be willing to take a risk of being wrong.
