Little inklings about a knights winger of some sort before June 30.. nothing more concrete than that! I'd love it to be Votano.. but I guess its Schiller or maybe Marzhew or Gagai? Think Dom Young arrives there tomorrow..

Doubt its Gagai, Votano is more of a fullback but could play wing i would assume, Marzhew is pretty highly thought of by the Knights would be surprised if it's him, Schiller left us to play 1st grade but i feel that will be harder for him now with Dom Young coming back and the emergence of Fletcher Hunt, so id say Schiller the most likely and he can play centre and fullback as well but not that great..
With a winger coming looks like Flano has no trust in our current lot of wingers CT injury prone, Lawson not currently up to it, Sloan enough said, Sione Finau not getting a real chance and Mat also injured as well, that will also be another top30 spot taken for next year..

Schiller is seeming likely, is he any good? Honestly I havent watched him closely since he left us years back.. are his errors his hands or his defensive reads?

he had that horror game a few weeks back, while playing in the centres, before moved back to the wing, i haven't seen anything outstanding about him, he came through as a fullback/centre with us, moved to Canberra and remember had a couple of good games but havent paid any attention to him really, has played 28 games for 15 try's just checked his stats..

hate that we are taking rejects again rather than a real strike winger.. but I mean hes our junior returned, and maybe he is a solid improvement as either ctr or wing for us.. assume fullback is a thing of the past..... need to move a couple on though before next year.
Maybe im a fool, but I dont understand why we dont upgrade Heidke instead as wing or ctr instead.. hes big enough, old enough, and hes proper class.. same age if not older than Aitken on debut if im not mistaken..

Biggest concern is the way he runs so hard. Opposite of Sloan. In a year or two when he puts on more muscle, it'll be good. Might be good already but in first grade he'll get smashed a few times. Probably not used to that. But I still think you're right. Promote him or Buchanan is much better than signing a Newcastle reserve grader.

I reckon 2027 and 2028 we are starting to need decent upgrades to retain a lot of those young forwards that will have come of age by then.. Toby could even be in origin by then if his trend continues.
2025 and 2026 cap though is sort of harder to spend... alpha prop would be ideal if indeed said player exists out there.
