Shadi only one close to a genuine play maker for mine. LKT next closest, is developing his ball play, took control last week without Kade or Shadi and now looks more confident with ball in hand. Laid on a slick ball to put Treweek into a yawning gap for a six pointer...

Contracts are pointless now, if someone wanted to sign Gutherson off us we would happily let him go despite him having another year

I suggested Raider Chase Stewart a fullback who can also cover outside backs. And he will be avail come Nov 1 so no need to pay overs because he is still contracted, like Drinkwater.
But it is a moot point as now Stewart or Fletcher Mullet wont be needed...
Chevy Stewart is unknown mate. Has some talent but comparing him to Drinkwater is crazy. Overs at 950 a season?? Not in my eyes although some would disagree. Scotty can play 1 or 6. Great pick up in my opinion

thats why the cap system is so weighted towards the bigger clubs, the better ur roster, the hotter u r on the field... the more sellable your rejects are..
But as a struggling club, its hard to sell our rejects.. we've been trying for ages to move guys like Sloan and Lawrie on..
But yes ultimately thats where we need to get too... and as Mug said we just have to wear the pain to help get us out of the spot we are in.. its rly only Gutho thats been an issue due to his speed drop-off.. I think Val will be fine once hes settled back on the left and given consistent teammates, and i think Cook has been rly good for us.. so thats not too bad imo.. Drinkwater unless he has massive injuries I think he will be sellable in his last year to ESL potentially cause hes an attacking machine.. thats if we actually want to do that.. he might well be one of our best players still.

I will never stop saying a draft for the NRL would be incredible, we’ll all probably be long gone before all the structures are put in place for it to be possible but it’s something that needs to happen IMO
