I hope none get picked for the PMs 13. Team is a bit of a joke. Kyle Flanagan got selected in it last year. Was the coach Ricky Stuart? He was having a bit of a laugh at our (Dragons fans) expense.

Stewart and one of the Couchman's are a chance of getting selected for Aus. Can't pick both Couchman's yet. Two players is the absolute max they can selected from the spooners. If any of those 3 aren't selected for Aus, I'd say they are certain for PMs 13. LPT is a good chance as well.

Our forward pack had stats comparable to the best teams in the comp, it certainly wasn't their fault we were shit. If its warranted, wooden spooner or not, then its warranted.

Can’t wait for when they all start preseason, hopefully limited selections in the World Cup and they can all work on combinations as early as possible. I expect us to make top 8 next year

Culture & leadership is soo bloody important, look at the panthers & broncos. Panthers with great culture lead by their players who are footy heads & sensible non dickhead types compared to broncos who have a bunch of talented great players but dickheads.

I'm soo happy the stewarts, couchmens, egans, lokos, halangahu etc. are all from the panthers style of culture rather than the broncos. Panthers style leads to sustained success while broncos is flash in the pan.

All it will take next year is for the guys to win some games early and everything should fall into place. The blending of the current "good" players together with the new guys plus the ever improving your guys blossoming in the lower grades will enable us to maintain wins. That is my vision. A 27 yo player that couldn't make the starting side in a team that came last is in the top 5 Rookies.

All we want for Xmas right now is Nuffo, KF, and Suli to go. If the club could get rid of all 3 paying only 30% of their salary, it would free up the cash to chase Herbie Farnworth or at least Jack Bostock.

I know it won't happen with Nuffo or KF but Suli should be able to get an ESL deal.

Even though he's drastically overpaid next year, I think Gutho has something to offer as the back up fullback and a good influence on the young guys in reserve grade.

As for Suli and Kyle, I'm not in favour of psychological bullying but if Suli has an offer elsewhere, he needs to take it. Otherwise he's cleaning the COE when he's not a ball boy for reserve grade.

Kyle knows as well as everyone else he didn't get a contract on merit but because of his Dad. So he needs to strike a deal with the club and move on or he's mowing the fields around the COE.

I feel like if we had 2 centres that clearly nullified Gutho to the bench and really into the extended bench.. maybe he reconsiders the early retirement option.

Problem is I just doubt that happens until february or march.. and its all a bit late by then for us to land a 2027 replacement... he is also our only fullback depth as of right now.. even if Sloan stays it still is probably Gutho..

Last season coming up, can’t see another nrl team picking him up unless there’s a disaster injury wise in their halves. Bit of luck he’s gone by mid season

If Sloan stays it pretty much guarantees Holmes @ left ctr.. and then right ctr is between Gutho, Atko, Buchanan, Suli, Fale or someone we are yet to sign.. they arent great odds for Gutho or Atko being in the starting 17.. means they are likely seat warming as #18 or #19.. they wont want that... either of them.
