Gorrell is a former Dragons player and local Illawarra junior. He played with Dean Young and Ben Creagh so has connections at the club. I don't know who hired him.

I will be really interested to see what they do next year assuming Talau is the NRL assistant...

It is what it is.. but I would love to have a few coaches without NRL aspirations that might sit in those roles for 5yrs or more.. its exhausting trying to replenish the junior squads each year + the coaches from all the grades..

Goz was already working for the club as a scout while coaching Gundagai to a premiership. He also coach Riverina and NSW Country reps.

He applied for the job and was hired by Haran same guy who hired Talau.

Havent been watching Flegg, but giving up their huge 1st half lead, hanging on by 2pts with a few mins left.. been a tough weekend for fans!

Bummer forgot to watch Flegg. We won 34-26. Creighton Meafou, Daniels younger brother selected in the squad. There are three I'd like to see promoted to Ressies, Bailey Carmichael, Lucas Borg, Eden Hodges.

A real team effort. It is hard to identify any standouts that you can say are going to make NRL stars or at least it is for me. Amazing that they are coming first but great work by all involved.
