I'd be more worried about that scumbag who officiated the Dragons game in Vegas. Forgot his name.
While growing up at school we found out one of our teachers was a big gambler, we used to play this song every lesson on the classroom cassette player

Yep Mr Vegas, Anzac Day and Magic round. Got the trifecta against us the muppetGrant Atkins
Definitely Runner. It's his word and who knows, he might have had many bets in the past on league matches. He loves to give 6 agains I have noticed. If this is true how on earth can he be allowed to referee in the NRL? I know it may be betting on horses or whatever but it is not a good look for the game. It will certainly focus attention on any questionable decisions that he makes.
I don't look at the refs carefully for the most part but I thought this guy was pretty good. They all love 6-agains but I thought he might give them less.Definitely Runner. I will be really wary of him now when he referees games, especially our games.
Exactly. Do refs have a favourite club that they have followed before being refs and even now. I know that Greg Hartley was an avid Bulldogs supporter. I think that these refs should advise if they have a favourite club and, for example, if say one is a Dragons fan, he should not ref our games.I think the top refs earn more than 330K.
What sort of safeguards are there to ensure they are not betting on outcomes of NRL matches ?
Grant Atkins either loves the Dragons so goes out of his way to compensate. As if to go out of his way to show he's professional and doesn't play favourites or he hates the Dragons and is very unprofessional.Exactly.
