From what I have heard it sounds like Flanno is going to play Acko halfback and Kyle 5/8. Based off that I assumed Acko was going to be the dominate game manager/playmaker. I don't mind the idea of Kyle being the dominate game manager, number 7 and halfback and Acko being 6 and 5/8. I also don't mind the idea of them sharing the game manager/play maker role.
Why did he say that when his boss Tim Watsford said Atkinson will start at #7, the prime play making position.
Sorry to bring it up again but no one seems able to answer. If Atkinson is supposed to be the playmaker and game manager, is Kyle in the team for his running game? What exactly is his job supposed to be?

To me Flanno seemed hesitant and unsure himself as to who, what and when in the Final Word video. He didn't have that spark in his eyes to show that he had much confidence in how things will go with Atkinson and Kyle. I think Kyle has no idea about playmaking. When he played alongside Hunt at 5/8th he seemed adequate as a support to Hunt. I wouldn't like to see him back at halfback. Atkinson should have control of the footy and do most of the kicking in general play at halfback..
It’s actually something that’s been on my mind since Flanno’s previous interview. Around the same time I heard Michael Ennis asked the same question, whether Atkinson would be the game manager. Ennis dodged it, and Flanno flat‑out rejected the idea. Some members felt he was just protecting his player, but it seemed like there was more to it. Almost as if Flanno and Ennis have a Plan B they’re waiting for the right moment to roll out. Anyway, here’s hoping both boys have a blinder tonight.
