I'm looking at it from the perspective as I was very upbeat about Hook and Flanno who both, especially the latter, turned out to be unbelievably bad. I'm very downbeat about Dean Young so he might turn out very good.

Reverse psychology works sometimes. I hope it works for you GCRV.

After the initial disappointment, I'm feeling a bit better about it just as long as he has good assistants and orders from Creagh and/or Watsford to listen to them, and take action on their suggestions.

Young needs to back his appointment up by winning against the Titans at home on Sunday , or it will all start again ........

DY has the excuse atm that the players he has especially backs are not up to it and let’s not talk about the halves. Whilst he has that under his belt he is untouchable.

Have a feeling he would have been a distant 3rd behind Young > Hornby, but I think he will be hot property for the next club struggling.. seems a super smart guy who can articulate very clearly...

Seems like a good type of guy and had many hats in the coaching profession. Better career than Deano methinks as assistant coach as well as being head coach of Somoa and will be the assistant with the Perth Bears next year. Did he get interviewed and was it a fair hearing?
