Desperate for someone to have a recording device and write a transcript and post it
someone will post it dont worry lol.. I expect nothing of value to be said during it mind you.. but if its in June maybe we are closer to a 2027 head coach announcement.

If true that Jacob and Loko r out the door.. Couchies still TBD.. I mean the pressure will very much be on the board still... honestly the only way out is a charismatic as f*** coach who can sell the vision to them.

I hate even comparing us with the tigers but they absolutely lucked out with Benji, club legend and legendary player who can relate to Polynesian players and young fellas on a personal level

Be awesome if Ben Hornby was Tongan and a 3 time dally M winning player with incredible aura. Would help our plight loads

I think that’s why I’ve started to lean into a real good man manager type coach. It’s a very underrated part of the job + Benji obviously has it. They were absolute gash for years and players still stuck with him and wanted to play for him

If it goes ahead I’m sure it will an absolute load of waffle, rubbish talk. They’ve done these before haven’t they??
Yeah they do them once a year i think, went to the Kogarah one, when Hook was still coaching us, showed slides of finance, talked about future CoE, Which we just got, took questions from the crowd etc
I received the email, which i didn't read straight away and then shortly after received another to say it was a sold out event, either way wouldn't have attended as its at the CoE, too far to drive on a Tuesday from Sydney at Peak hour time..

Well the Bruce Gordon Centre was officially opened today (22/5/26) by the Prime Minister Mr Anthony Albanese and was attended by several dignitaries including members of the Gordon family.

Billionaire media mogul Bruce Gordon did not attend the opening of the Centre reportedly due to his age, reluctance to travel, and a personal preference to avoid public ribbon-cutting events.

The WIN Network owner, who is based in Switzerland and spends minimal time in Australia, has a known track record of declining to attend ceremonial groundbreakings or openings, preferring to let club executives and board members take the spotlight.

The $65 million facility—officially named The Bruce Gordon Centre to recognize his unwavering half-century financial commitment and support as a major shareholder—was officially opened in his absence with Dragons Chair Andrew Lancaster and club executives doing the honors with Mr. Albanese.

…Roy and H.G. will have a field day with that one.

Did the Feds throw some money in? If not its a bloody disgrace that he was there in my personal view
Yes they did Joe -

"Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the Australian Government was proud to support a project that would provide immediate and long-term benefits for the Illawarra.

“This is what rugby league is all about – community, a sense of identity and belonging, learning on and off the field and always looking to improve yourself right beside your teammates,” Albanese said.

“Our investment of $13.6 million to the St George Illawarra Dragons’ Community and High-Performance Centre will provide a world-class facility for the Dragons to deliver the next chapter for the Illawarra.

“Fifteen months ago, we backed this vision for the boys and girls of the Illawarra to be the next NRL and NRLW Dragons, and today we’re proud to help make it a reality.”"
