They forgot to invite soward to the premiership reunion cos he wasn't on the email list, I can't take this club seriously 😂. Our new CEO then had to call him to invite him. He must be thinking what the f*ck have I got myself into.

Quite often you stand on the outside of large branded organisations and assume that they run with a level of professionalism and competence, then you get closer or actually inside and see behind the curtain realise how wrong you are. That's repeatedly the feeling I get about this club and stories like this don't help. I would have assumed that the club (meaning both sides and the JV) would have a database of past and present players and communicate with them on a regular basis and have at least one reunion a year with special anniversary years for gf teams on top. I remember the days of the greats being driven around Kogarah Oval waving to the crowd. I got to meet Norm Provan at the back of the grandstand and shake his hand on one such day, something I'll always remember. As old Jack used to say, winning starts at the front office.

Met sticks when he use to manage the old Rydges Resort at Caloundra. He had a dedicated St George room. Stayed 3 nights and every night you'd find me in that room full of memorabilia. A big man and a gentleman too had a beer with him every night, he didn't drink was a tea tottler.

As for Jack , well he was the creme de la creme of coaches back in the day.

That day at Kogarah, a young bloke about 10yo ran up while I was with Norm and handed him a permanent marker and asked him to autograph his jersey. Norm initially refused, telling the kid he didn't want him to get into trouble with his mum. After some convincing, he autographed the jersey. Where do you find that sort of humility anywhere these days.

Far and few between im afraid. I remember after the game at Kogarah the members and fans went across the road to the Taj Mahal and rubbed shoulders with the 1sts team over a few beers. These were the days

Lancaster part of it, hope he pushes a view point favourable to the dragons. Possibly something related to salary cap relief if pathways players get poached?

Some managers have too much power.
The NRL run the game & need to show who’s boss. Letting Moses back is really coming back to bite them.
100% blacksafake. The people who are appointed the Managers and officials of the NRL run the game and certainly need to exhibit their powers to ensure that the players' managers know who is controlling the game. The problem we have of allowing players to break contracts is becoming more and more because players want more of their way and the managers want more for their pockets.

We wait in anticipation to see who we have signed on a daily basis. The announcements are made on the official Dragons website and this would indicate that a contract has been signed, sealed and delivered requiring the player and the club to commit to the agreed terms and conditions of the contract. We then believe that a player will be with the club for the term certain of the contract. Any deviation should therefore come with a penalty which would make it difficult for a player to break his contract. However, depending on circumstances that can be proven to be factual like the usual personal family problems etc then that player wanting to break his contract could be released provided that the club can sign a player of equal standard as the player wanting to leave with the club being required to actively carry out that function. The same could apply if the club wants to get rid of a player - like the Bulldogs have been doing for a couple of years - the Club should actively secure a position elsewhere for that player and pay costs etc for his transfer as well as his pay until he is released.

Moses has all the tricks under the sun to do shoddy deals as he knows the people he can use to help him achieve what his goals are. The NRL will have to closely monitor all of his actions and negotiations.

Further complicated (twisted?) by same agents representing the coaches signing off on player movements.
