I thought he was committed to the tackle and there were a lot of things which could have happened to prevent a try including the Cowboys player being further away but already at full speed while the Shonkies player wasn't at a standing start but just on the move.
That's true though if it was a penalty try or being down a man for 10min, I think a try might be preferable.

Great news in the NSW Cup competition the GF will be fought out between 2 foundation clubs Bluebags v Bears should be a belter of a game

For me, possibly the only last 4 standing I would hate more is if Bullgrubs were in for Penrith or Melbourne. And I guess Souffs as well. Souffs not so much anymore. They are only weakening the Rorters these days. Until now I had nothing against Penrith but 3 in a row is too much already.

I'm glad Melbourne smashed the Rorters last night. I hope and expect Penrith to do the same to the Scummies tonight. Then I hope Melbourne win despite their cheating probably costing Dragons a premiership or two in those years.

Not that I really care but:

Penrith by 16
MoM- Cleary (he's like Hunt for us. They give him MoM every game he plays and Penrith win.)
First try: To'o
I don't really care either but I hope Melbourne win. Not really fussed if Penrith win.
  • Melbourne by 4
  • First try: Hughes
  • MoM: Munster

Storm by 4. Grant a blinder to show Hunt what a crap player he is.
Need Grant, Coates and Edwards to get thru the game unscathed for the PCs.
Rant: GF should be played mid afternoon like the old days.

Need Hughes to play a blinder to show how much better than Hunt he is. And Papenhuyzen > Sloan, Munster > Flanagan:ROFLMAO:, Howarth > Feagai, Grant > Liddle and more. I think only JDB, Su'A and Hunt (on the bench) would make their 17.

As for Howarth, Bellamy cut loose a seasoned, proven first grader in favour of the at the time 20 year-old centre. I don't think Flanno would do that in a million years. He would have been stuck in NSW Cup until injury or 3 more years.

Battle of the best 2 spines in the competition. Those 4 players will decide tonight's GF. On paper and current form Storm should win the battle of the spine. I'm hoping for a 4 peat but after analysing the game doubt that will happen unless Edwards and more importantly Kenny have the game of their lives.
