Yea that makes sense, poor bugger, tough as nails the way he got back up and even trying to walk up the tunnel. Hoping for the best recovery possible.

On the bright side, if anyone is going to do an ACL, especially a young player. Better it be in round 1 to have as much recovery time and a full preseason for 2026

is the ACL on us for letting him play on for 5 minutes? Same with Kirk... I know its easy in hindsight ofcourse..

No all the damage was sustained in the initial incident, both impact.
MCL are a more constant pain, ACL you can sometimes move fine but collapse on change of angle such as in TK case.

Looks like Viliami Fifita is back from injury replacing Jacob Webster (suspended), not expecting much from him, probably get tops 15minutes either side of halftime, will take him time to build up fitness, would be a bonus if we can actually get some good games out of him this year in 1st grade

Ryan will have surgery next month giving time for some healing first, expected to be running Jan and ready for trials.
Vili re injury foot will see surgeon tomorrow.
No real update on Moses spoke to him after games doesn't appear bad but will have scans this week.

Tom is suffering on going headaches from a head knock at training 3 weeks ago.
Hame is good to go next game.

Anyone else notice Mr Tom Eisenhuth isn't on any injured list I can see but isn't even listed in reserve grade. Not complaining. Why would anyone drop Egan, Halangahu or Tsougranis for Mr Tom Eisenhuth but gee it would be nice to have a top 30 place free.

Justa answered that in the injury thread, ongoing HIA issues.. hopefully Tom is back at it soon, not enjoying being another middle down, and no doubt more injuries will come before we know it.

I don't expect Tom to play this weekend, he still has ongoing issues.
Wouldn't surprise me to see him retire.
That's unfortunate for him, always a shame to see players forced into retirement particularly with head injuries but I'm glad he and the club seem to be prioritising his health. Hopefully he recovers well from it, regardless if he plays again or not, and can still be involved in some way for the rest of the season.

Thats definitely not good for Tom, thats atleast 5-6 weeks ago now @ training.. maybe different if he is at the start of his career, but hes really so close to retirement anyway... I think if it was me I wouldnt want to risk my melon any further.
Hes the forgotten man currently, we forget hes even in the 30 cause we havent seen him.. whether he could have been an upgrade to our Top17 we may never know.
