Some perspective, he lied about inappropriately accessing text messages between JDB and his legal representatives on his phone. The judge said it had no bearing on the case. Not excusing a senior cop committing perjury on the stand, but not like he presented false evidence or tampered with statements etc to get a conviction. Still deserves punishment.

Right from the start the womans story made no sense at all.
I'm stunned the club didn't sue the NRL for so much money they didn't end up owning it. It wasn't just punishing JDB but the entire club, all the supporters, all the players, sponsors and etc. And distorting the competition.
It was a rough time but now we have a new CEO, new coach, JDB and I think every other player from that period as well is gone. Barring Blake Lawrie who was a fringe first grader then and isn't even that anymore. I think we can finally move on now. In my view anyway. Unfortunately the NRL is still run by the same arrogant scumbags.
