Yep, Creighton meafou’s been really quiet after the first 2 games of the season. Middle forwards are immense.
The attack looked the worst it has all season (rain played a factor). They can’t expect the forwards to barge their way over to score points especially against good sides like the roosters today.

That roosters #6 was incredible today, defended so well and then scored that last minute try. 100% MOTM

Slept in and just catching up on the Steelers HM match, though I get the gist from the comments above and seen the final score, can already see in the first set the usual crisp backline struggling in the wet. And yes Justa mentioned Creighton has been playing injured but is nrly back to normal, but hasnt shown any of that immense skill we saw at the start of the season, its obviously in him, and hes fine in all his games, but that talent should be shining in every game.. esp playing in his own age group.
Anyway the unbeaten streak is over, impressively low score though defensively for both sides..... atleast we can refocus, 1 more game before finals...

All these games are overlapping this afternoon, will have to watch them on replay later, but we got that U18 Grand final win, rly keen to see those kids next year at SG Ball level.
Steelers SG Ball game in the balance also... 16-16 at fulltime, i think thats prob not a bad result for them? The ref had the whistle away could have given us 3-4 penalties for blatant head highs and hit off the ball and stuff to close out the game.. Reed had 2 field goal attempts but the ball barely got off ground level...in the mud i spose.. their kicker got a better one off but went wide..... in the end a 1on1 steal sort of potentially saved the day for us..

Just a Mug Fan this kid Jack Talbott seems like hes a cult hero in the making.. what are they gonna do next year, is Ollie Burton likely to also be competing for the Steelers SG Ball #1 jersey (assuming he extends ofcourse)?

Jack has one more year of Ball so they won't be competing.
Jack can also play halfs, I'm not sure where he will end up he's size is also a worry.

think its just the new default for junior comps.. so HM & SG and the female equivalents assumably... im rly happy about it, Top5 was rly tight..
Steelers SG are already in finals just looking at the table.. HM also.. both Dragons mens sides r out unfortunately..;. the SG side has to win to avoid the spoon also.

Looks like they can’t make top 4 based on who the current top 4 sides play this week, likely finish 5th with a win and 7th with a loss
Steelers HM likely finish 1st on for/against with a big win against a struggling Balmain this week.
They’ll probably play either central coast roosters or Sydney roosters in their first finals game

We need some some top shelf recruiting to bolster Saints HM as everything grows from them in our jr pathways. This seasons Ball have been less than awful while HM not much better. Recruiters got it spot on bringing Latu, Halangahu, LKT, Williams here in the one year, all of which were major contributors to the BC Premiership win. HM needs a similar injection of talent to make Saints jr reps competitive at this level, much like the Steelers are at present.

I am seeing a stronger Saints BC side next season if these five guys, Jasais Ah Kee, Phoenix Johns, Jodie Field, Jackson Haesler, Jaeden Kavana are promoted. Been by far the best for MC this season. Above all, BC '26 need an organising half and a couple of big bookends.
