Hope Ollies injury is minor nothing serious.. not sure what he has planned for the rest of the year?

Wont ruin the score just after half time in HM just in case.. but competitive game even without Ollie, surprised to see Chapman the hooker playing fullback.. def game on in the 2nd half.. could go either way.

We had this won, and that try gets called back cause a Rabbit takes a dive after being grazed by our attacker.. then Creighton gets speared into the ground and ref is like play on.. and thats it.. out in straight sets.. very unlucky.. but such is life.. crap day to follow the red and white tho.

I would never have recognised Jasais in that photo... thought he was much chunkier than that.. he looks quite athletic.

How did Ah Kee not sweep every award 💀💀

Wrap him up in cotton wool, lock him away and force him to sign a 10 year deal.

Kids an absolute stud
Remember Shadi Hammoud? He's been out with a long term injury but I wouldn't write him off. Between him, Ah Kee and LKT, 5/8 seems to be covered.

Absolutely, that’s good 5/8 depth along with Atkinson starting in 2026

We should be extending Ah kee for a long time. 2 new franchises and the competition for young players aged 17-21 is fierce as we know with Finau Latu.

I genuinely think he’s an Isaiya Katoa level talent where he could get plucked away by the Perth bears or some other team who see the talent and reap the rewards by paying him overs at a 18/19 YO

identifying and locking down the CREAM of the crop is what we have to do especially with new teams coming in

Hmmm that’s ominous, what’s he done now?

I’m assuming it’s to do with bagging Crown sports management

I'm assuming he's gotten a lot of people offside with his very obvious favouritism for Kyle.
He's done a number of things which seem a bit unprofessional. Lost it with RCG. I liked it at the time but in hindsight, was it a good idea to carry on about it the way he did? Made him and club look a bit desperate. No matter what one thinks of Kyle Flanno, I think recruiting him wasn't smart. Only puts pressure on both of them.

He's also had some bad luck. He was already worried about front row stocks when Frank Molo walked out and then Ryan's injury in round 1. Sele just can't put together more than 10 min before injury.

Good points, Craig Fitzgibbon said it a couple weeks back he doesn’t want to coach his son because it puts unnecessary pressure on both of them

Flanno’s definitely not on tenure, the next 18 months could make or break him as a coach at NRL level, needs to wise up

Head coaching is a hell of a thing.. and its easy for us to look back in hindsight... and for the most part I know hes making what he thinks are the best decisions at the time, and more importantly.. we have to hope that he is adapting and learning from his mistakes..

I do suspect that the game has changed since his previous reign, which was really only 9years ago... but I suspect with the faster game comes a need for younger faster stronger legs that he didnt need last time around... which I think has led him to make some recruitment decisions he will regret... i.e. with our outside backs and some of our middle choices.. a lot of cheap but slow players which I was onboard with until I started to see how the other clubs are going in a different direction.. Canberra being the prime example... this combined with the fact that recruitment is far far far more competitive than 10-15yrs ago.

I think he has had made some mistakes lately though, I didnt mind Tamale at the time because I knew we had a surplus of wingers.. like I got it.. and Tamele had a strong running game.. but he was still around our 4th choice winger.... but I think 'winning every contract' has hurt us.. we cant be letting our cream of the cream juniors go over a little extra money, same with Latu.. its hurting us short/medium and longterm..

Finau is next to go (or will be).. and maybe its fair.. maybe he thinks he cant learn the defensive sidea defensive thing.. but if he wants run metres which is supposedly the reason to keep CT... well Finau has that in spades.. but he also has a whole bunch of speed and upside.. again head coaching is a hell of a thing and there are more factors than on the park.. but I dont think were finding anyone better unless he is all in on Lawson... but its a hell of a call to shut him out when CT is injured.. thats basically telling him ur not wanted.

And finally yes the tantrum towards crown sports was not cool.. he needs to mend that bridge.. if we lose any of those U17 guns over that..

But for the sake of everyone lets hope we get back to winning games, because winning really does fix everything, and losing is very bad for business, and we are still very fragile in our rebuild.
