There are already 3 or 4 young 5/8s in the lower grades who are going to shoot past LKT, not to mention young halves who could push Atkinson out into 5/8. I don't think LKT will be a long term 6 or 7 at the dragons. He might be better served to start thinking about playing 9.
A bit harsh. I'm not judging him negatively until I see what he can do behind a forward pack providing much better forward momentum and without Kyle Flanagan as his halves partner. Though the idea of trying to turn him into a hooker isn't bad.

It's not like KF isn't getting paid and he certainly knows the only reason he was signed and the only reason he's even in contention for first grade is because his old man is the coach. At this point, one of them has to go. And we all know if Flanno snr goes, Flanno jnr won't be seen in first grade again.

Not asking me but I like him to give his dad a break and voluntarily resign to seek opportunities elsewhere. Give his dad a chance to succeed while proving to his dad he can make his own way in life from now.

I agree with you Ryan. But there is nothing I can do about it. It’s either I accept the situation until something changes which I’m hoping it will or I don’t support the Dragons. I really can’t afford to get upset about it anymore because as I said my opinions are meaningless to the ones that matter.

Aren't a few taking it a bit too seriously? It's a results driven business. If the rests aren't going our way, KF will be in the firing line. If results are going our way, everyone can be happy.
We don't want to be basically out of contention before changes are made.
We have numerous problems this year Chris with the halves being just one. We have to allow Flanno and the rest of the crew to show us something, if not nature will take its course. As I said I’m not expecting anything out of 2026. Who have we recruited for this year. Atkinson and Kerr and some reserve graders so far. I just want to see us develop into a formidable forward pack this year waiting for KK in 2027.
