My theory is that SFlanno knew that his time was up but would not leave unless the Club assured him that KFlanno would be picked (subject to no injuries of course) in all games until his contract ends - either in the halves or as a back up on the bench. But then again, as KW said Deano could be just as stupid, or should I add stubborn, to leave KF out as well as Atko.

Why still pick bloody Atko at full back? Gee we know what the end result will be - fail, fail, fail.

While an interesting theory, I dont’t think so DD. The first thing Deano did was drop Kyle when he was made HC.

So he's not even trying to be a better player and do better for the team!!??

The Flanagan family has treated the club with contempt! KF needs to be told he's accepting a payout significantly less than the value of his last year or the club is suing the Flanagan family! Is it doable? I'm not a lawyer but I imagine the club has a case. We all know he was only recruited due to his relationship with the former coach. The former coach who didn't care one iota about the team, only about KF's position in it.

It's a sick joke. That's true but look at the list of halfbacks.
Glover, Ilias and Kyle. Bud Sullivan and Ashton Ward also mentioned. One or both will be in reserve grade. 5 from 11 have history with the Dragons.

Just glad Metcalf now in place with Reed waiting in the wings. No more dud halfbacks!

I like the theory on BH to help develop the young talent coming through. That weasel did f$#k all to help our young guys except teach them numerous ways to rip your club off and leave them high and dry. What a waste of space and money that little prick was.

What is BH and what is the theory?

I've said several times, even though I was still optimistic at the time, the alarm bells rang for me when the first thing I heard Flanno say about the Couchman's was they were promoted into the NRL too soon. It was utter BS. Did he even watch games from the previous year? After JDB and Su'A they were already our best forwards.

Anyway, he was an unmitigated disaster but he's gone now so I'm just happy about that.
