84% effective tackle now. Betting it had been no more than 60 last season, so a huge improvement.Sloan's defence has improved but still awful.

No surprises therePredictable way to end a season which until the end promised so much.
So it's on the training staff not to have replaced him?Mat broke his hand early in the game
Mate honestly we were never ever going to play semi finals football with this group of players. Just my viewsPredictable way to end a season which until the end promised so much.
Said the same long time ago need players that have not been implemented by Dragons Footy ........Mate honestly we were never ever going to play semi finals football with this group of players. Just my views
I still have friends currently involved in teams in administration positions. I can safely say that in the RL world the Dragons was not an option for the majority of players managers because we had a poor culture and discipline. Further we were never going to be in a position to achieve a players dream of winning a premiership ring. I'm going back now 8 yrs it's been that way. Hopefully we are turning the corner and removing the old boys club and deadwoodSaid the same long time ago need players that have not been implemented by Dragons Footy ........
You mean defensive? Do you see any improvement in his defense organising. More work for Young.Positional play is very poor unfortunately
Non I'm afraid . I don't know if he can be our fullback going forwards, time will tell. You mean defensive? Do you see any improvement in his defense organising. More work for Young.
x2 that for me but Sloan 6/10My '24 Report card.
Sloan: a big improver, still a work in progress in some defensive aspects. 7/10
Lomax: had a bumper final year. 8/10
Suli: another big improver. 7/10
Bird: Filled in adequately when needed. Still messes the play when he tries too hard.6/10
Rava: Worst ever season 5/10 was dropped for CT 6/10
Flanagan: Lacks class but never stops trying 6/10
Hunt: showed poor leadership, diminishing skillset. 5/10
Molo: An enigma who fails to consistently use his size and power. 6/10
Liddle: our unsung hero. tackles everything and can turn us round with his dummny half darts. 8/10
De Belin: All I can say is thank goodness we have him 9/10
Su'A: our third big improver. 8/10
Leilua: needs to offload some bulk and with good service to his edge he will be unstoppable. 7/10
Eisenhuth: A good defender but lacks impact with ball in hand. 6/10
Off the bench the Couchman twins were the pick. Toby 7/10, Ryan 6/10
RFM 6/10. Feigai twins 6/10 offense 3/10 defense.
I saw him wring his hand in pain in 64 min after an attempted tackle so I reckon that is when he busted it. If done earlier it was not hindering him playing as he'd have opted to call for attention at the least. I watched closely his missed tackle on the wing who scored a late one in the corner and he did not look as tho he was carrying a hand to protect a busted finger. So it's on the training staff not to have replaced him?
