How have we lost Indie Bostock =(, one of our genuine local talents.. still havent gotten over losing her brother either.
i posted weeks ago she was tracking a Phins player and now this. Why doesnt the phins player leave. You are f&$king kidding me. So first it was Shipton then Bostock and probanly Berry. Are we still blaming Soward or what. F&$k we are a soft touch. DisgracefulVegas-bound Indie Bostock granted shock early release from Dragons NRLW deal
Rising NRLW star Indie Bostock has been granted a release from her Dragons contract on compassionate grounds just days before she will board a flight to Vegas with a team of aspiring stars.
It’s a big move for Bostock, who was granted a release just this week on compassionate grounds despite the Dragons’ fight to keep her.
The 19-year-old made her NRLW debut with the Dragons last season after being developed through the club’s junior grades, but unexpectedly asked for a release at the end of last year.
“The Dragons can confirm Indie Bostock has requested a release from the remainder of her NRLW playing contract on compassionate grounds,” the club said in a statement.
“The club has granted that request and wishes Indie all the best in her future endeavours.”
It could open the door for a move to Queensland closer to her partner, Dolphins winger Tevita Naufahu.
Her brother Jack Bostock also plays with the Dolphins.
I was hoping she could lure Jack or her BF to the Dragons. So much for that.
I can barely contain my frustration any longer.
Also noticed that Nathan benched Shenae Ciesiolka from the starting 13...Was sort of half hoping QLD would win tonight (sort of) for our NRLW coach Nathan Cross.. dunno how many u rly take out of these games, but qld defended brilliantly for most of the game even though the blues were dominant.. rly came down to a field goal shootout.
If she goes to the Roosters or Broncos, I'm just going to stop following or caring about the competition. Why do anything else? It's a competition between the Rorters and Donkeys and I don't care for either team.![]()

Berry to depart Red V come season’s end
The St George Illawarra Dragons can confirm that Teagan Berry will depart the club at the end of the 2026 season.
Berry moved from South West Rocks to Shellharbour as a teenager to join the club’s pathways system, scoring a double in Illawarra’s 2019 Tarsha Gale Cup Grand Final win before scoring another double in NSW’s Under 18s State of Origin victory.
She debuted for the Dragons as an 18-year-old in 2020, whilst still at high school, and has since become the club’s all-time NRLW leader in tries (37), points (150), and appearances (41).
In 2023, Berry produced one of the great individual seasons, finishing atop the premiership’s try-scoring leaderboard, earning RLPA Players’ Champion and Dragons Medal nods.
The 24-year-old earned a State of Origin debut earlier this year, playing in all three matches of NSW’s series victory.
Berry admitted that the decision to leave the club was difficult, but that she remains committed to her Dragons teammates, staff, and fans this year.
“I have made so many great memories at the Dragons,” Berry said.
“This decision was certainly not an easy one. I am grateful that the Dragons took a chance on me when I was a teenager and gave me an opportunity to chase my dream. I am all in for 2026 and really want to finish my time at this club on a high.”
Head coach Nathan Cross echoed Berry’s sentiments and thanked her for her efforts up until this point.
“Teagan has been a massive part of this club since she was still in school,” Cross said.
“Whilst it’s disappointing that her journey as a Dragon is coming to an end, we have full confidence that she will put her best foot forward for the remainder of the season and do everything she can for her teammates.
"We wish Teagan all the very best moving forward and thank her for the incomparable mark she has left on our club.”

Thanks but still bitterly disappointing. Especially after Bostock ran away.Sharks, Vaivai is assistant coach there.
