I had to do a forum search and check if he was the kid I was thinking of.... was injury cover for borg and kirk in SG Ball this year.. I think he wore yellow shoes or something unique (his brother had the blue ones).. but there was something about him... will be good to see him in SG Ball again next year, see how he goes in a full season.

Bring on the Dogs next week. We beat them in round 1 and we need to repeat that for no other reason but to have a confidence builder going into the following week 1 of the semis.

ooh I had not noticed that.. cup play the dogs this week, then its NSW Cup finals time during Round R27 of the NRL.. gosh thats a shame.. we cant drop any players back to help.... only advantage we might have is Eels also have their Flegg side in finals the same weekend.

I'm banking on Ilias to have a good game against the Dogs. I think he is really getting into the groove after such a long while just "plodding". I'm thinking that he could be in line to return to first grade next year if his natural abilities go a step further up the rung. He is very capable and I'm not writing him off.

Very excited for the kid, his reputation has preceeded him. I hope he has a solid game as expectations can build unnecessary pressure.
There is a lot of 1st grade experience in that team so there won't be a shortage of advice and assistance.

The more I think about Kade, I think he will go better in higher grades.. blokes running the right lines and doing the rest right around him.. let him kick well and come up with some creativity... that said its 1 game with no time to gel.. no pressure rly just needs to kick well and makes his tackles.
Obviously hope he exceeds expectations... still not the same dominant nsw cup side it was earlier in the seaason, plenty out still... CST picked up a HIA last week also.

Some times it's easier for a half in a higher grade when he doesn't have to push forwards around all game.

Last game for the season for the boys
While it's not been a successful year for the team from a Club and players perspective it has been.
The expirence the boys have gained in higher grades will benefit us next year.
