NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg, 2025

Mate for mine Ramsay is very similar to Sloan, blinding speed off the mark, elusive, relatively safe under the long kick, chimes into the attack and a poor defender. He is also paper thin, like Sloan was a year ago and gets the same 'ragdoll' treatment on his kick returns. And unlike Sloan he does not have the same ball skills or game awareness.
I think CR is way more fearless that Sloan, I've seen him put his body on the line, but do agree he would get rag-dolled now until getting to his proper weight. I've seen him take some big returns in KOE into the big boys, he's doing ok so far. But its just a miracle that he is playing to start of with. Pure guts and determination right there. I love the bloke ,,,,

If he ever returns to 1st grade, the game should be a sell out. One of the best NRL stories of the last decade imo.

  • So now #16 and #10 are back. I hope Flanno doesn't drop #11, #3 or #17 to accommodate any of the veterans if or when Eisenhuth is back. Dropping #13 back to Jersey Flegg would no longer be out of the question.
  • Huge win last week. I was skeptical of #3 in the centres but obviously went ok.
  • A huge win by this team too against better opposition, according to the competition table.
  • Buchanan and big name forwards got all the wraps last year but I always thought #3 had some qualities which could make him a very good centre. He seems to be going well lately.
  • Probably not possible to swap Flegg and Cup #13s this year. Shame.

Lyric although wearing the 3 jersey has been playing wing. He is far suited to that position where is makes less decisions, an issues that has hampered his centre play.

This game will be available on Bar TV free this week.

Seems like a good fit then, Lyric has plenty of pace, decent height.. him and Williams on the edges once hes back..

Im guessing Saifiti isnt being continued at this stage, he has huge upside but plenty of down too.. but it is what it is..

Afu maybe back into ctr or TRumble? I saw a movement from Toby early on that looked like he could easily attack from centre, he burnt a defender and ran around him.. but there is so much more obviously than than to succeeding there, and he has some errors in him.

He used to be a bit skinny but has a frame which seems he can pack plenty of weight on.

Yeah I dont know RVH, I really think next year will be a totally new dynamic in the halves and I dont think KF will be there.
If the case Jd means Flanno has finally bitten the bullet and dropped his son. Redv01 and I concur that one of either father or son had to go if his dumping does not happen.

That’s a damn good side for sharks as well, Riley Pollard’s a great half and Faatili is a great forward. Both deserve to be in cup

Cyrus and Lyric out for flegg, assuming their injured?
we were just talking about Saifiti, and there he is lol.. hope he can be the difference today, strong kid.

Cyrus out is either an injury (seems more likely) or hes playing NSW Cup tomorrow, but that bench is already stacked.. i dont think he fits in the 17 until we stop playing some of Lawrie/MMolo/Fifita.. so probably next year.
