Thanks Rev, my thoughts are that I would rather a team going into finals with good form rather than getting pasted, I'm sure the coach would have a few worries now seeing that effort, there would have been nothing wrong with repeating last weeks performance. Anyway lets see what we get in finals.

We play the Eels who got beat 54-6 by 10th placed Bears.

Anyone who think that Illias should of been in FG after his 10min highlight last week, should watch his 80min tonight.
This narrative in the media for the last half season has been so awful to follow.. not one of em watches a cup game... just some assumption.. dont get me wrong, his 2 tries and field goal were outstanding last weekend, but its like a broken clock is right twice a day with Ilias, sometimes things come off but its almost by accident than by design.. there was 1 good pass today I do recall.. but its not enough.. especially since recently when he has started becoming the chief playmaker in the side.

What did you think of Reeds debut?

That's like saying get someone out of the crowd to play local league it just doesn't happen anymore.

The player you just grabbed would have to have a contact signed and insurance paid.
Did all the kids who recently got callups in Flegg have to sign a new contract? Most of them were leftovers from the SG Ball sides, like um Smythe, Fityz, Lewis Sargent-Wilson, Andrews..

I looked thru the Flegg game today, I think we had 15 total play cause I can see Lewis and Leeroy had game time but werent there at the start, hope a news story comes out on this cause its insanity that there is no workaround... feels like an Under 6 story :-/

Hodges and Fitzgibbon dont cut it as game managers like Kade Reed. Was clear we missed his guidance and natural instinct when the grubs came back to square things at oranges and later when they marched off with the two points to hand us a sorry end to our season.

A fit and trimmer Corey Ackers has all the tools to become our future enforcer, over the likes of LKT or Jake H. He put in big mins, made some power carries, offloaded for second phase and his defense is remains brutal. Just have to prove you can stay injury free for much of the season big fellar.

Not seen a lot of him latter part of the season but Flegg back rower Jared Johnson continues to impress. Upgrade him as I see a future first grader.
