Well today is the day. Its been so very long since we long suffering but loyal fans have had an opportunity to see the big red V on Grand final day.
Make no mistake we are the underdog, the Warriors have been the standout team this season. Still we are running onto the park a 50/50 chance of winning the premiership. The forwards must hold the middle of the park.
The Warriors backline is full of 1sts experience and they have the wood on us in previous clashes 11 - 6. In saying that we will be full of confidence drawing 14 all in round 25 and putting the cleaners through their weakend team in week 2 of the finals 24 - 10.
Grand Final days are unique it is entirely a new game, history, recent and past count for very little once you run out onto the paddock. We have a well coached and drilled team and it will come down to just who is the better team on the day.
Fingers crossed with even luck the big red V will be gracing next weeks Grand final against my local team the Burleigh Bears who knocked off the hot favourites North's Devils yesterday in the QRL GF.
