Yes, thanks George. Aaah, Warren Ryan. He had a chequered career winning several grand finals and losing others when at Newtown, Canterbury and Balmain. He was good support in the ABC Commentary booth over many years until listeners started to complain about things he was saying so he and David Morrow were stood down which to me was a pity. That was a disappointing loss for the Dragons in the1985 Grand Final against the Dogs when Roy Masters (one of the best journalists/columnist we could have) was our coach.

I wish that we had star players now. How great would it be to know that we would have every chance of winning games if the team had several of them. We lack class which sux.

You got the year wrong for the Dogs beating us George, but the Warren Ryan coached Bulldogs did beat Parramatta in the 1984 grand final on the basis that Parra beat us 8-7 in the preliminary final thus preventing us playing the Dogs in the GF. Pretty close and bloody upsetting result for us to lose that Prelim.

Is it too obvious to think that the Xerri release drama has Melbourne written all over it?

Agitate for a release as they need an outside back and dogs can accomodate an outside back leaving

Our only other options for the halves are King Togia and Reed. Flanno has stated he doesn't want to rush Reed and when he does pick him, he wants to keep him their and not drop him. King Togia's defence was found out last year. I also don't think he will become a regular first grader at our club or any other NRL club. Gutho to 5/8 is our only other option, but we don't have a topline fullback to take his place.

So who do you think Flanno should be playing in our halves instead of Kyle?

I do want better than Kyle, but who else is there right now?

As was previously mentioned Frank, put Gutho in there, something, anything to get more out of the halves, have LKT on the bench if something happens but you have to have someone helping Atkinson, we need another point of difference or it will be just as it was with Hunt, extremely easy to shut down.
