Maybe. though looks like he's a comfortably better 5/8 than Atkinson. He's played 2 games at 5/8 now and both worse than LKT ever played as a 19 year-old behind an injury decimated forward pack saddled with Kyle Flanagan as a halves partner.

I have mixed thoughts on PNG entering the NRL. On one hand, it’s encouraging to see a nation of more than 10 million people, where rugby league is the number‑one sport, taking a step into the premier competition, which will no doubt accelerate their short‑term development. On the other hand, I believe their long‑term growth might be better served by first establishing a strong, sustainable senior competition at home.

Your off your nut old fella. When did I say Atkinson was the saviour? LKT is useless he won't make the grade at our club full time that's a guarantee. No chance

Ok. Literacy and comprehension is a problem is so no point me commenting more.

Too early to say for sure but at this point, it looks like LKT is a comfortably better 5/8 than Atkinson.

Just to be clear, I have nothing against Atkinson. I hope he has a blinder next game (if he's selected) and cements his place in the team with a number of more good games at 5/8. But I also have nothing against LKT. Hope he also continues to play well in reserve grade to keep the pressure on Atkinson. And of Atkinson keeps playing like he has the last two games, we have a ready made replacement. Now the old coach and his son are out of the picture, I expect in the near future the halves will be much better.
