I think 99% of my time on this site will be in this thread lol

Plenty to like coming through

What had you made of the Papualii’s from what you’ve seen so far Mug and Rev?

I didn’t watch St George pathways much but every week I’d look at results and Cornelius had a try or brace it felt like.

Think he ends up wing or centre?

Connie has the strength skills and D to be a centre.
Most of his tries were on the wing where he had room to move.
He didn't get the opportunities at centre playing in a poor team with no attack.

Destin got shown up badly in both finals matches l that would of hurt his chances.
Api missed a bit but I think he is failing behind now in terms of progress.
Defence and passing game is a problem in my opinion for Destin he can definitely run but never looks like passing and gets caught out in defence a lot

Daniel has looked very average ,possibly his injures have set him back.
On field he looks unfit walking and taking 3 4 tackles to get back on side.
He needs a big lift.
Noticed this too. Thought he looked OK on debut and, to his credit, has tackled reasonably well and has seldom missed one. But as someone who should be trying to make himself a mainstay in cup, I think that Daniel really needs to get himself more involved in attack. Even in Flegg, I didn't really see him 'looking' for the ball -- unless he's been given directions from Talau to ply his trade in defence. Even then, like you said Mug, he's been taking his time to get onside.

Eitherway, really doesn't look to be the same player after his injury. Could very well be fear of being reinjured rather than his athleticism being reduced.

Hope be doesn't turn into another Jackson Shereb.

Congrats Ollie and Hunter! And yes agree Mailroom, Amone was on track before his 2 concussions.. Coehlo was rly good too, esp the first half of the season.. he had a rly good 1-2 punch with Chase. Asher was decent also, prob not quite in the same realm as the others (his try in the prelim was epic though), but to his credit he filled in as the team needed.. was just a rly good squad =)

Just looking up Jackson Shereb (24yrs old now).. he did play in QLD Cup last year but he has a 2yr Deal @ Manly for 26/27, it doesnt articulate if he is actually Top30 or not.. has played 5 games of NSW Cup for Manly.
