I do think he’s got the potential to be a really solid NRL player though. Could be moulded into anything

someone mentioned one of the OB kids was getting a promotion into the 30+6.. assumably it was Toby.. one more preseason and will be keen to see how he handles consistent NSW Cup level games (he did already play 10 games this year mind you).. see if he can handle the physicality.. so far so good.

Asher is a funny one cause I dont know what his best position is, but he almost seems to be able to play anywhere.. and do it very professionally.. even if hes not perhaps freakishly exceptional at anything in particular.. maybe Wishart might be a similar comparison...

hehe no wasnt you.. ok T&T is fine.. with possible promotion early next season if things go well.. assume we will leave 1-2 spots open as we usually do..
journos saying we may keep Sloan yet, depending on funds.. but Sloan would literally be the winger in front of Toby if he stays.. Sami is locked in, but the other wing spot is up for grabs between Tu/Sloan and the kids.. if Sloan takes a Top30 slot.. also less chance we are keen to promote another pure winger into the 30.. not to say its no chance.. I mean I feel like we were running 7 wingers at one stage... just to say im sure they might prefer coverage in other positions etc.. all that said, Sloan does cover Fullback, but then there is Atkinson doing that.. I keep getting spun in circles trying to figure it all out.. ok ill stop talking now.

Starting to get a collection of some really promising outside backs, a bit like 2
-3 years ago when it looked like there was a hive of really good young forwards coming through (which some have started to make their way in first grade)
Morrison/Tausala/Rumble/Heidke/Papuaali/Phoenix Johns all have something about them that I like
Gone a bit cold on Buchanan, can’t quite make my mind up on him but right now I’m more out than in
Xavier Vai Vai got potential too but I’m off him after he signed with Cronulla then reneged or mum said no or whatever it was that stopped it from happening
