Reed just turned 19 this year, in my years of playing and moreso in coaching how many times did I see and hear the next big thing is stepping up to 1sts but through you in ressies first.

If Atikinson is Ilias mark II and Reed plays well in reserve grade, he needs to be promoted in the second half of next year. I wish he could have more time to get comfortable playing in open ages games but if Atkinson is bad, there won't be any other option.
Let us hope young Atkinson comes good despite the lack of recent running on appearances

Yep I really hope Atkinson kills it and by what he says he sounds like he really wants it,and dare I say wants to play for the Dragons. I doubt that DA would have had everything riding on Reed as a backup at this stage and can see the reason behind getting Joey.
Though Atkinson was recruited long before DA.
Missed my point Eric, he played many games for the Storm through their feeder club the Falcons, played only the 1 1st grade game and was set free whereupon he signed for the Sharks but also played for their feeder club the Bluebags.

I know most people don't agree with me but I think Tino is very overrated. From what I've seen of him in Origin and playing for the Titans. I'd prefer Leniu. Can't understand why the Roosters would want to let him go unless there is stuff off the field the public doesn't know about.
I reckon Isaiah Fagalilo could step up if given the call. Should be our Ressie hooker this season after playing some games last. Also Kyan Hjaltson who missed most of last season. Think he is older than Isaiah but yet to play Ressies (stand corrected)

I read that was the case somewhere. If so, are they supposed to be upping their offer? Or maybe offering him less? As far as I remember from his time at the Dragons, Bennett isn't a big believer in throwing huge money at props.
