I was just thinking of him. What happened with that? How can they afford RCG, Tino and Fotuacre? Do they have any money left for the rest of the team?Yep. Lots to play out still. Who knows what's occurring with players at other clubs too. Isn't there a titans young fwd that wants to leave?
Wonder what brought on the alleged mental health issues? Anything to do with his DV conviction in 23? The court orders were revealing, ' Not to approach the woman for at least 12hrs after consuming alcohol or taking illicit drugs'.Francis molo potentially leaving the dragons. On extended leave of absence on mental health grounds. Hope he'll be okay. We'll need to grant him a release if he wants to leave.
We still need that big bodied prop but it would appear that we are still not a destination that decent young players want to come and play for. A puzzle is not completed until the last piece is inserted, no matter how good the picture looks.I think Flanno should let him go immediately and use the money to upgrade LPT, Latu, Stewart and the Couchmans. Then have to rely on JDB, Lawrie, Sele. With Lawrie and Sele (rather than Lawrie or Sele) I don't think the team loses a lot if anything.
I like the idea of Flanno standing his ground and not offering Lodge another deal but now Frank is gone, maybe just this once he should bite the bullet and do it. Unless either party has already burnt his bridges.Bye Frank. Never rated him though if Flanno thought we were short of a prop before, it must be a crisis now.
I honestly believe that this Front row " crisis " that the media will beat up if Molo leaves is only a crisis on paper . Molo's input on the field has been really poor considering what we pay him and if we had to we could put several people in there that could do the same thing Molo has been doing the last two seasons which isn't much. I don't see this as a problem at all and if anything it will free up some good money.

Good memory. In my day we needed at the very least 3 of our forwards to run 100 yards per game in attack, that was just to keep you competitive. I have plenty of time for JDB he has taken one for the team playing out of position as a bookend for many years now.DT talking about Dragons "forwards crisis" and listing stats. Firstly Frank Molo averaged the same number of running metres as Lawrie (81) but these are de Belin's strats:
2024
Because his job was often to run to the line as pass, something I wish our halves could do, the run metres is way lower than it otherwise would be but I remember
- 24 games
- 54 minutes pg
- 96 metres pg
- 28 tackle breaks
- 15 offloads
- 29.2 tackles pg
jodragon40 saying something about 100 run metres being good. At least a pass mark. Along with 30 tackles per game and a large % of them very effective and 15 offloads...... Pretty impressive stats.
He did take one for the team but he's a bit bigger and not quite as fast now. Prop is probably his position now.Good memory. We will agree to disagree amicably on this point. He will be 34 this year and most probably his last season he is not going to make those hard big metres that we so badly need on a consistent basisHe did take one for the team but he's a bit bigger and not quite as fast now. He's not going to be a prop who just charges into the line to make metres. Just do that more than he does now if another forward who can pass a bit is available. But I think there isn't so he'll have to keep playing the way he does.We will agree to disagree amicably on this point. From what I've seen...... well lets just say if we put our hopes in him gonna be a long season. I guess if he gets a razz from Gutho at the back on a regular basis, he might go ok.Emre Guler mentioned in media as signed 2y ear deal effective immediately.
