1. I agree that being likeable is not important.
2. For me there are limits to what I would do to win.
3. I'm not sure Tigers are exactly the benchmark in the business of winning games.

Flanagans position aint safe despite our BOD extending him for two yrs if they follow the same blue print of Cricket NSW which extended their coach a further two yrs late last yr. He has just been sacked.
There is no chance Flanno is sacked this year.

Haha! In 5 years time, Buchanan could weigh 98kg but I doubt that he will reach 6'1". Anyway, no point in me making any comparisons because each to his own whether a player is whatever weight or height it really doesn't matter provided that each player has appropriate measurements that would enable the player to perform at a certain level.
Not all are great lets face it and never will be so who we enlist or dismiss is a big job considering the years of disappointments in failing to secure beauties and several of them we need at that and we are putting a lot of hope on the young ones that are coming through to be the great ones because of our lack of success to get the marquee types from elsewhere.
Daniel Anderson has a good record of getting good players for the Roosters and years ago when coach at Parra. We hope that he can do the same for us. Speed, power and endurance is what we want.

Seems our coaching staff have a thing for Buchanan over Craft Te Moananui and Heidke. It can't be skill so must be the lack of time the other pair are out with injury. No doubt Buck is a tuff little dude.

I was referring to ability mate. Cooper and Gasnier formed one of our best ever centre partnerships since we sold our soul and probably 20 yrs before that.

If we lose this weekend and big changes aren't made, I predict we'll be 1-5 at best. There are no easy games against teams at full strength. Not for the Dragons this year anyway.

Yep its sort of how us fans think.. i.e. what I saw with my eyes last weekend week will happen every week from now on.. and thats why footy tipping comps are so hard.. because things never say the same...
We spoke about this next 4 week period a while back.. these 4 games are as soft as games can get in 2026...but every one of these sides on their day could run riot.... Mailroom I think said we needed to win 3 or 4 of them.. for me.. the minimum I would be OK with is to win 2 of them (which would put us @ 2 from 6, 1 short of a 50% win ratio)... anything less than that and we are in some real strife cause there are not many soft games in this comp... it will just get harder to pull off wins from there.
If we are 0 from 6, blow the joint up.
